Malerisches Bordschomi Eine Straße durch eine traumhaft schöne Schlucht führt Sie nach Bordschomi: Sie spazieren durch die Innenstadt, besuchen einen Park, in dem sich Kaiser Nikolaus II. und seine Familie jedes Jahr ausruhen, sehen ein Denkmal für Prometheus und einen hübschen Wasserfall und erklimmen auch das Kabel Auto auf das Plateau, von dem aus sie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Umgebung haben. Natürlich werden wir über das berühmte „Mineralwasser“ sprechen, das im gleichnamigen Tal auf dem Territorium des Borjomi-Kharagauli-Nationalparks abgebaut wird. Ich erzähle Ihnen von den Ergebnissen archäologischer Ausgrabungen, die die Geschichte des lokalen Mineralwassers beleuchten, und Sie können das weltberühmte Wasser direkt an der Quelle probieren.

Höhle Wardsia Der antike Komplex von Vardzia ist nicht nur in den Fels gehauen. Diese Höhlenfestung ist ein Kloster, das im 12. Jahrhundert unweit von Tiflis erbaut wurde. Die außergewöhnliche Stadt hat 13 Ebenen und mehr als 500 Räume: Kirchen, Kapellen, Wohnzellen, Vorratskammern, Bäder, Mensen, Schatzkammern, Bibliotheken. Die Räume gehen 50 Meter in die Tiefe und erreichen eine Höhe von acht Stockwerken, außerdem sind Geheimgänge, die die Räumlichkeiten verbanden, die Überreste der Wasserversorgung und des Bewässerungssystems erhalten. Während der Tour erkunden Sie jeden Winkel von Wardsia und finden heraus, zu welchem Zweck die Felsenstadt gebaut wurde und welche Funktionen sie in der Geschichte ihrer Existenz erfüllt hat. A very interesting excursion, a trip to the picturesque mountains, the history of Georgia, would like to mention separately our guide, David 14. Positive, knowledgeable of history, and just a good man with a lot to say about his country. I recommend that if you're in Georgia, make an appointment for a tour of David, from the "Ushbe treveler of Georgia"
We were on a long field trip to Borjomi, Vargia, Rabat. The tour was absolutely magnificent, our guide David(14), was unspeakably interesting. He is young enough, but with the delight he tells of his love for the Motherland, he knows its history well, but even more he shows his respect for the guests of his region. When we went into churches, David lowered his voice in respect of the people of faith. He's managed to bring together complete strangers before. In general, this tour will remain in my heart and memory for years to come.

We had a wonderful trip today to Borjomi, Rabati Castle, and the Vardzia Caves. It was such an enjoyable experience where we learned a lot about the history of Georgia, thanks to our amazing guide Katy, who was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Well organized. Your tour guide was well informed and communicated well - would’ve have been better if they separated the groups based language - the constant switch between English and Russian meant some things were missed in the moment. Lots more driving than sightseeing but it’s understandable given the distance from Tbilisi.
