Dies ist ein ganztägiger Ausflug zum Toya-See und zum Höllental Noboribetsu, dem beliebtesten Ausflugsziel für Naturliebhaber und alle, die eine friedliche Atmosphäre in Hokkaido suchen. Wir sehen uns den kristallklaren See an und erkunden das aktive geothermische Gebiet des Bergs Usu. Kochende Quellen entspringen aus Jigokudani, dem Höllental. Wir können die Landschaft des Tals auf einfachen Wegen erkunden und dabei Blasenbildung und Dampf aus der Nähe sehen.

Der Mount Usu ist ein Vulkan, der in den letzten 100 Jahren viermal ausgebrochen ist. Der letzte Ausbruch ereignete sich im Jahr 2000. Die Usuzan-Seilbahn bringt Sie in die Nähe des Vulkangipfels. Atemberaubende Landschaft von der Aussichtsplattform, zu der der Berg gehört. Yotei, Toya-See, Oshima-Halbinsel und Pazifischer Ozean.
Der Toyasee ist ein Calderasee, der durch einen großen Vulkanausbruch vor Zehntausenden von Jahren entstanden ist. Es hat einen Umfang von ungefähr 36,5 km und in der Mitte liegen vier Inseln: Oshima, Kannon-Shima, Benten-Jima und Manjuu-Jima.
Noboribetsu Hell Valley liegt im Zentrum von Hokkaido und ist eines der führenden Onsen-Resorts Japans, dessen Quelle in Noboribetsu Jigokudani liegt. Eine Promenade im Hell Valley ermöglicht es, sicher durch dieses mysteriöse Vulkangebiet zu gehen. Gehen Sie auch nach Oyunuma und zum natürlichen Fußbad.

We booked the one day Lake Toya and Hell valley tour with Sumi and Taki. It really was the highlight of our trip to Hokkaido! They truly made us feel like family. Sumi is very knowledgable and you can feel her love for nature and Hokkaido. We had fun exchanging language tips with Taki as he was interested in learning Spanish, and we also learnt a few Japanese words! The organisation of the trip was impeccable and we will no doubt book again with them if we come back to Hokkaido, hopefully to explore more of the northern part of the region.

Sumi and Takei were great guides! Conversation along the way made the drive pass quickly and we were lucky to have great weather for viewing the Mount Usu and Hell Valley. The onsen foot bath at was a soothing way to finish the excursion. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a fantastic time on this private day trip. We were only in Hokkaido for a few days and knew that we wanted to visit this national park but didn't feel up for renting a car and doing the navigation ourselves. Sumi and Taki were excellent tour guides - they were incredibly knowledgeable and also very sweet. It was really special to do a tour with people who are from Hokkaido - we learned a ton about the history of the region and also the role Hokkaido plays in Japan's modern agriculture. They were also so kind to take pictures for us throughout the trip - some of my favorite pictures from my trip are ones that they took of us! The sights at Lake Toya/Mt Usu were stunning. We also stopped for lunch at a great restaurant and a few less-traveled souvenir shops. I would 100% recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Hokkaido. If we ever make it back to Hokkaido we will definitely do another one of their tours!

Hell Valley was a truly awesome geothermal location with a lot to see, experience, and smell. There are several walking trails to various locations within the park. Some trails keep you nearest to the geothermal mountains while others take you through the forests. All the trails you'll need good shoes and be in decent health for because there are some narrow passes and a lot of up and down hill portions that could be slippery at times. Bring water and keep your phone charged for GPS purposes.
