Beautiful experience thanks to Martin, the experienced driver we were able to see a lot of different types of animals including , lions, cheetahs, hyppos, rynos, Flamengo and a lot of others... Thanks Martin. I warmly recommend
Thank you Joe, for this amazing day share with you ! The first guide to show us lions in Nakuru, we saw so many beautiful animals and the landscape are incredible ! I also recommend to do the Boat Ride with John, it was really amazing, interesting and great to see hippos :)
We recently took a tour to Lake Nakuru and Naivasha, but the experience was negatively affected by several payment issues. At Nakuru, our card couldn’t be used at the payment point, which was unexpected since we’d never had issues with it before. After entering our card details, which made us uncomfortable, the payment still didn’t go through. As a result, we lost over an hour trying to resolve the issue. In the end, the staff at a nearby souvenir shop paid on our behalf using their card, and we had to pay them back in cash with a hefty commission fee. This situation could have been avoided if the tour company had handled the payments in advance. On top of this, the lunch provided was very expensive, and at Naivasha, the ticket lady attempted to charge us more than the advertised price. We booked a guided tour specifically to avoid these types of issues, but instead, we encountered them multiple times, which made the experience uncomfortable. Although our guide tried his best, we didn’t leave a tip because the problems were due to the company’s poor organization, not his efforts.
The trip was amazing! Safari guide Joe was very friendly, he had a big knowledge about the animals and their habits- his stories were very interesting. Joe stopped anytime I wanted to take a pic which was really nice :) I highly recommend this guide. Also a boat ride was full of details about the birds living around plus hippos ❤️
John was excellent and we saw more animals than I thought we would. He would stop and let us take pictures whenever we asked him to stop. I highly recommend him.
I had the best time at Lake Nakuru with Mr Evans. He was kind and patient. Arrived at my hotel on time. Explained the various animals. Took me to the boat ride resort and it was magical. Highly recommending your agency.
A great experience - it's quite a long drive but worth it - saw so many different animals and the driver, Stephen, was very knowledgeable about them all. The highlights for me were the hippos on Lake Naivasha, as well as rhino and a lion in Nakuru.
We had a wonderful day, saw lots of animals, even the lions. The boat ride was unique, so many interesting new birds, as well hippos. Warmly recommended!
Loved this fully packed day trip! Our guide Steve was very knowledgeable and showed us so much animals!!
Thank you Tomre for reviewing Gracepatt about your safari to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. Carry on with the good work Seve.
My day trip with Kelvin incredible. I was the only person booked on the trip, but it never felt awkward and I felt in safe hands all day. I felt like he went the extra mile to tailor the trip exactly to my interests. He has so much knowledge about the area and wildlife and is happy and enthusiastic to share it. In terms of the location both nakuru and naivasha are insanely beautiful, I could have spent a whole day at least in each place. I'd been on a short visit to nairobi national park and ticked a few of the big mammals off, but Nakuru is just another level entirely. We got there early enough to feel like we had the whole park to ourselves, so peaceful and incredible close up sightings of mammals and 50+ species of birds. Kelvin was more than happy to help indulge me in my attempts to identify the birds and has books on board to help you learn. Kelvin had loads of cold water on board, but take snacks if you are like me and prioritise time with the wildlife over food stops, although there are plenty of lunch options if you want to spend time on that, and the food we squeezed in at Naivasha was really good. Most of the flamingoes were in Europe at the time of my trip, so beware the main photos in the trip guide are from specific times of year. There were still 100+ flamingoes which still made me happy and there's definitely plenty of other wildlife to make it a worthwhile trip at any time of year. Would definitely recommend, but take more time in both locations if you can afford to!
Thank you Lindsay for such a self explanatory review about your safari with us to Naivasha and Nakuru. Its beautiful to hear a visitor talk of how safe they felt in your hands Kelvin and the knowledge they got from you about wildlife. Keep it up Kelvin. Its true sometimes carrying some snacks can help but we always make sure our visitors get enough time for lunch during the trip. We look forward to serving you again in the future.
