Beautiful experience. Harlan (tour guide) was amazing - kind and knowledgeable. He knew many of the staff and because there were only two of us we had some lovely encounters other larger groups would not have. Highly recommend. And bring a raincoat or poncho!

Driver and guide were great. The waterfall hike has a lot of stairs for those who might have mobility issues.

It was exceptionally amazing tour! Edgar or “Super” Edgar was our tour guide. It me and my friend with one other couple that went. He explained the terrain and history as we drove along and with much surprise, he stopped at a coffee plantation so we could experience a little bit of the area. We had to cancel our Brit Coffee tour due to scheduling conflicts. I was very sad and so because of what he did, I was sooo happy!! He was so patient and knowledgeable. He was always explaining things about the falls and making sure he took plenty of pictures of us. It was just wonderful! Highly recommend this tour and “Super” Edgar as your tour guide!! This was an amazing full day tour. The La Paz facility is an amazing place. My wife and I enjoyed the Wildlife Refuge at the facility and waterfalls were amazing and just stunning. The lunch at the La Paz resort restaurant was great. Our tour guide keep us, Harlem was awesome and very knowledgeable about La Paz. We arrived there safely and got back to our hotel safely. This is a tour everyone should take. You will enjoy it.

We were in awe! Costa Rica is a beautiful country. We had a small group, only our family of three and another couple. The pick up from our hotel was prompt and the entire trip very relaxing. Our tour guide started narrating as we drove to the Poaz volcano and La Paz lodge. Everything was green and the weather was great. We made a stop at one of the coffee shops overlooking the mountains. The view was awesome! We also purchased coffee beans from the place where they harvest and roast it. Can't wait to taste it but from my coffee experience in Costa Rica, every coffee I drink is delicious and caffeine level somehow is low that one can drink it at night and still get a good night sleep. We saw wildlife. That was incredible especially the butterfly garden. Stopped at the lodge for a buffet lunch that is included with the tour. After lunch, we took a 40 min walk to the waterfalls which was really fascinating. There as a lot of steps on this tour but it was not too difficult as the pacing is really good. There were many steps going down to the waterfalls. I thought we had to climb back up and that gave me anxiety. Tour guide should have told us that a van will be picking us up at the bottom to return to the lodge. On the way back to our hotel our tour guide knew we were so tired that he did not bother us while we were all dozed off. Overall a wonderful experience!
