Bei dieser Ganztagestour besuchen wir drei unglaubliche Orte, die in dieser Gegend absolut einzigartig sind. Wir erfahren nicht nur mehr über Kaffee aus Costa Rica, sondern besuchen auch den Vulkan Poás, einen von nur sieben aktiven Vulkanen des Landes. Anschließend sehen wir über 100 Arten, darunter gerettete Faultiere und Kolibris in den La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Dies ist mein Lieblingsausflug in die Gegend von San Jose, denn er bietet Ihnen eine großartige Kombination aus malerischer Landschaft und der Möglichkeit, viele in Costa Rica vorkommende Arten aus der Nähe zu sehen.

Wir reisen durch das Kaffeeland San Isidro, durch viele kleine Kaffeeplantagen in Alajuela, wo Sie mehr über die Geschichte der Kaffeeproduktion in Costa Rica erfahren, den Prozess, wie Kaffee in dieser Provinz hergestellt wird, mit einem großartigen Aussichtspunkt, um Fotos in Alajuela Providence zu machen. Wir besuchen den berühmten Naturpark La Paz Waterfall Gardens, einen der schönsten Parks in Costa Rica. Bei unserem Besuch sehen wir über 100 gerettete Tierarten, darunter Faultiere, Jaguare, Tukane, Kolibris und viele mehr. Es ist ein Erlebnis, von dem unsere Gäste oft sagen, dass es der Höhepunkt ihrer Reise ist! Wir werden dann ein Mittagsbuffet mit über 35 Speiseoptionen für jeden Geschmack haben. Schließlich besuchen wir die fünf berühmten Wasserfälle von La Paz, die an verschiedenen Orten malerische Fotomotive bieten.
Wir werden zum Vulkan Poás fahren, der einer der sieben derzeit aktiven Vulkane in Costa Rica ist! Nachdem wir den beeindruckenden Hauptkrater erreicht haben, wandern wir zur Lagune von Botos und folgen den Pfaden rund um den Vulkan, um die Natur zu erkunden.

We had a great experience on this tour and would definitely recommend it. The hotel pickup was perfectly on time, and both our guide, Raquel, and the driver were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire day. Our first stop was at a coffee plantation, where we learned about the coffee-making process. We also had some free time to enjoy breakfast before continuing the tour. Next, we visited the Poás Volcano National Park, where we were lucky enough to see the main crater and Botos Lagoon. Our final stop was La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Raquel gave us interesting explanations about the different animals in the wildlife sanctuary, and afterwards we had time to walk the trails and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls. It was a long day because of the driving, but everything was well organized and it was definitely worth it. A great way to visit some of Costa Rica's highlights in a single day.
This tour packs a lot into one day and it's all a ton of fun! Raquel is a super knowledgeable guide. The coffee plantation visit was interesting and the coffee was delightful. The volcanic crater was really cool-- getting to the viewing spot was a short hike so you will want to wear comfy shoes. It's also dependent on cloud cover. Fortunately we lucked out and it was visible. Finally, the wildlife sanctuary and waterfalls were wonderful. The sanctuary has tons of animals that were rescued from the exotic pet trade. The waterfalls were gorgeous. Getting to them meant going up and down many steep and slippery stairs but it was very worth it.
Nice comfy air conditioning van. Great organization and communication. Wonderful guides the whole day. Book it now you won't regret it!
I RECOMMEND THIS EXCURSION 1000/10!!!! If you enjoy a bit of hiking plus, animal sancuaries, you would love it!. The tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgable.
We had an absolutely wonderful time on this trip and it was well worth the money. Everything we did on this trip was memorable and meaningful--from coffee plantation tour, volcano crater viewing, animal rescue center, and waterfall gardens. We also had a terrific guide, Raquel/Rachel. She was especially knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time. All in all, I'd say don't miss this trip and you would be happy to have Raquel as your guide.

I had a wonderful day trip to Poás Volcano and La Paz Waterfall Gardens. The itinerary was very well organized and perfectly paced, so we never felt rushed. Our guide, Raquelle, was amazing — very knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. We were a small group of only six people, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal. We were lucky to see both the volcano and the lagoon, although that depends on the weather. La Paz was also beautiful, with the animals and the waterfalls making it a great mix of nature, learning, and a bit of exercise before heading back. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Tour We’ve Ever Taken! Our Full Day Poás Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, and Coffee Plantation tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. A special thank you to Mr. Olman, the owner and driver, and Raquel, our tour guide. They were exceptionally knowledgeable, outstanding communicators, and, most importantly, genuinely kind and caring people who made everyone feel welcome. When we arrived at Poás Volcano, it was completely covered by clouds. Many people would have given up, but Raquel encouraged us to be patient and wait about 30 minutes. Thanks to her experience and positive attitude, the clouds began to clear after only 20 minutes, and we were rewarded with the most spectacular view of the volcano. It was truly a magical moment that we will never forget. The tour was conducted in a small group of only six people, which made the experience even more enjoyable and personal. We met wonderful travelers from different parts of the world, adding an extra special touch to the day. Every stop was amazing, well-organized, and perfectly timed. The coffee plantation was fascinating, the waterfalls were breathtaking, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, this was the best tour we have ever done.
