Der Kinkaku-ji, oder der Goldene Pavillon, ist ein zen-buddhistischer Tempel in Kyoto, Japan. Ursprünglich als Pensionsvilla für Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu erbaut, wurde es später in einen Tempel umgewandelt. Takashi was our guide and he was great. Very knowledgable, friendly, and a wonderful picture taker. He even had flyers to take home with us about the history of the temples. The tour was awesome. I would highly recommend it for people visiting Kyoto for the first time. The park was beautiful. The cherry trees were ready to pop. Wish we could see them in full bloom.
