Diese kulinarische Tour ist wie eine Geschichtsstunde durch das Essen. Begleiten Sie mich, einen Einheimischen aus Prag, und andere Feinschmecker aus der ganzen Welt und lassen Sie sich von mir auf eine Reise von traditioneller zu zeitgenössischer tschechischer Küche mitnehmen. Wir werden 4-5 verschiedene Kneipen, Restaurants, Cafés und Bars besuchen und ich werde erklären, warum wir Tschechen essen, was wir essen. Ich werde über meine Kindheit in Prag sprechen, wie es war, unter der kommunistischen Herrschaft zu leben und alle Ihre Fragen beantworten. Wir werden auch über Touristenfallen sprechen, was man in Prag nicht tun sollte und ich werde Ihnen jede Menge Tipps und Empfehlungen nicht nur für Prag, sondern auch für Ihre zukünftigen Reiseziele geben. Denn wir alle wissen, wie schlechtes Essen Ihren Urlaub verderben kann.

Reiseverlauf
Wir beginnen unsere kulinarische Tour in der Altstadt, wo wir traditionellere tschechische Gerichte essen werden. Zwischen all dem Essen und Trinken gehen wir zu unserem nächsten Halt und ich werde über tschechische Geschichte, Architektur und meine persönlichen Erfahrungen in der Tschechischen Republik sprechen.
Wir werden den Wenzelsplatz besuchen und ich werde über unsere kommunistische Vergangenheit und die demokratische Gegenwart der Tschechischen Republik sprechen. Wir werden uns mit Politik und Religion befassen, aber nur, wenn Sie darauf bestehen und nach ein paar Bieren ;)
Wir besuchen lokale und aufstrebende Viertel wie Karlin oder Vinohrady und sprechen über das gegenwärtige Leben in Prag und der Tschechischen Republik. Bei einem Drink und leckeren Gerichten diskutieren wir über Bildung, Gesundheitsversorgung und Mutterschaftsurlaub.

Food choices were excellent and tailored to our group. He is very personable and has a strong knowledge of the culture and history, which we greatly appreciated. Martin has an expansive knowledge of food styles and preparation and can provide recommendations of places to try based on your interests and preferences. The tour felt well paced, thoughtfully organized, and gave us a much better sense of Prague beyond the typical tourist experience. We left full, learned a great deal, and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.

Wonderful food tour! Martin showed us to 4 places where we enjoyed both traditional and modern Czech food and drink and ended with some coffee and dessert. Martin shared Czech history, sprinkled in current events, and he answered all our questions throughout. He was an amazing local guide with such pride for his country. Highly, highly recommend this tour. Come hungry!
We had a great time with Martin in Prague! He took us to 5 different places for traditional Czech food and beverages, while providing a lot of background and history on Czech customs. The portions were large and everything was delicious. We also walked a bit in between stops and he gave us some history and stories along the way. I highly recommend this tour!
What a stupendous tour with Martin. Martin showed us the best food and drink in Praha. We appreciated Martin's extensive knowledge of history, culture and all things culinary and his great sense of humor. Spending s day in meat-centric Praha with a butcher with as added plus. Martin took us on the most delicious food tour, highly recommend! We got to try some new things and everything was high quality. You will certainly get your money's worth and then some. Food, beer, coffee, lemonade, desserts were all so yummy. We also learned a lot about the city and its history and got to see a lot of areas. Martin went out of his way to give us lots of recommendations (and traps to avoid), he was so friendly and helpful.
