Der gesamte Kulen-Wald hat insgesamt 37 Tempel, tausend Jahre alte antike Tempel, aber der besondere Tempel ist immer noch Preang Thom, wo Buddha-Statue direkt in den Felsen geschnitzt wurde. Diese Statue ist 9,7 Meter lang, 3,3 Meter hoch. Die alte Legende besagt, dass die Khmer beim Bau des Angkor Wunders viel Hilfe von den Göttern erhielten und dieser Ort bis heute einen Fußabdruck bewahrt hat, der der Legende nach der erste rechte Fußabdruck Gottes mit einer Größe von 2 Metern lang und 0,4 Metern tief war. Der linke Fußweg befindet sich auf dem Berg Ba Kheng – weit weg vom Kulen-Berg etwa 50 Kilometer.
Der Aussichtspunkt „Amazing Cliff“ auf Phnom Kulen macht seinem Namen sicherlich alle Ehre. Die fremde Landschaft, die von den glatten orangefarbenen Felsformationen gebildet wird, kontrastiert.

Chou is our tour guard. He made sure everyone is well looked after. The day is very relaxing with fresh air and beautiful landscape. One can take a plunge into the water pool under the water falls.

Khun was a very welcoming friendly tour guide who provided water, cold flannels and all the information we needed. He gave us a great tour of the mountain as well as the river, cliff and waterfall. The reclining buddha was awesome. To think it was carved out from the top of a rocky peak is a wonder. The waterfall and swimming in the pool below was great fun and we would thoroughly recommend this trip.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Cambodia. The guide Tea ( wrong spelling lol ) was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable and answered any question I asked him. He explained everything. He was very kind and friendly. Definitely has the right personality for a tour guide. The tour was filled with many surprises. And the water falls was spectacular and so nice to swim in. Definitely don’t kiss this tour with Tea. It’s more than worth your lovey to go. Lots to see.
