Die einstöckige Altstadt von Perast, die sich in der Boka-Bucht am Rande des St. Ivan-Hügels befindet, gilt als die älteste Siedlung in der Boka-Bucht, da hier einige entdeckte Beweise für die neolithische Kultur gefunden wurden, die bis ins Jahr 3500 vor Christus zurückreichen. Heute stellt Perast die weltliche Auszeichnung als wichtige geschützte UNESCO-Welterbestätte dar. Die ehemalige Stadt der Kapitäne und Seefahrer und heute ein anerkanntes Luxus-Touristenziel zeichnet das Leben in der Stadt seit acht Jahrhunderten auf. Seine Position mit Blick auf die gesamte Bucht, einschließlich seiner beiden Inseln „Our Lady of the Rock“ und „St George“, stellt eine Top-Touristenattraktion in Montenegro dar. Leicht erreichbar auf dem Wasserweg von der Bucht von Kotor und Tivat, macht es zu einem unvermeidlichen Touristenort.
Die Insel Unserer Lieben Frau von den Felsen, wurde als künstliche Insel gebaut, die den Geschichten nach von dem Seemann aus Perast und Kotor gemacht wurde, der auf ihren großen Segelbooten große Steine brachte. Einer Legende nach haben Fischer aus Perast nach einem Schiffsunglück in der Nähe der Insel eine Ikone der Heiligen Mutter Gottes mit dem Christus auf einem Meeresfelsen gefunden, so wie die Bräuche sagen, dass sie geschworen haben, eine Kirche auf der Insel zu bauen. Sie haben die Kirche 1630 gebaut. Da die Insel gepflegt werden musste, brachte der Seemann die Steine weiter, so dass die Tradition auch heute noch lebendig ist. Dresscode Hinweis : Der Eintritt zur Muttergottes der Felsen ist in Bademode nicht gestattet. Sowohl Männer als auch Frauen müssen angemessene Kleidung tragen (bedeckte Schultern und bescheiden lange Shorts, Rock oder Kleid).
Auf der Halbinsel Lustica betreten wir eine versteckte U-Boot-Basis, die während der Weltkriege für die jugoslawische Armee gebaut wurde. (Wir gehen nicht zu Fuß auf die Halbinsel, wir gehen in die U-Boot-Basis, die mit dem Schnellboot betreten wird.
Mamula-Insel Die Insel Mamula befindet sich am Eingang der Bucht zwischen Lustica und Herceg Novi. Die Festung auf der Insel, die fast 90 % der Fläche einnimmt, wurde 1853 vom österreichisch-ungarischen Admiral Lazar Mamula erbaut, um die Feinde daran zu hindern, in die Bucht von Kotor einzudringen. Nach 1942 wurde die Festung während der Zeit Mussolinis in ein Konzentrationslager umgewandelt.
Wenn Sie auf diese natürliche Meereshöhle zugleiten, reflektiert das Sonnenlicht den weißen Meeresboden und erzeugt das berühmte glühende türkisblaue Wasser, das die Blaue Höhle so einzigartig macht. Ab dem 21. Mai dürfen Boote die Blaue Höhle nicht mehr betreten, so dass Gäste sie nur noch erleben können, indem sie vom Eingang aus innen schwimmen. Wir werden hier für 30 Minuten anhalten und Ihnen viel Zeit zum Schwimmen, Schwimmen und Genießen eines der atemberaubendsten Schauspiele der Natur geben.

the boat is amazing, the driver/guide even better…then the view!! it was a perfect few hours out in the bluest water i’ve ever seen! the swim to the caves was so refreshing and breathtaking!

We booked the Blue Caves, Submarine Base and Lady of the Rocks tour through GetYourGuide with Aquaholic Speed Boat Tours on 9 July for a tour on 18 July 2026. We paid in full and received confirmation by email. This was intended to be a special experience for the ten members of my family during a Mediterranean cruise. We were only in Kotor for one day, and the four teenagers in my family were particularly excited about the trip. Unfortunately, at 10.05 pm on the evening before the tour, I received an email advising that it had been cancelled due to bad weather. It was surprising and very disappointing as we were four days into our Mediterranean cruise and had only experienced perfect weather. When we arrived in Kotor the following morning, the weather was sunny and clear, and the sea conditions appeared calm. We also made enquiries in the harbour and found that many other operators were running exactly the same tour with a good marine forecast. Fortunately, we were able to book with another operator at the last minute. The trip with the alternative operator was excellent, the sea remained calm throughout, and we were even able to swim safely near the Blue Caves. The replacement operator gave a thorough safety briefing, operated professionally, and we felt completely safe throughout the excursion. What I cannot understand is why Aquaholic cancelled our tour while other operators were clearly able to run theirs. I have asked GetYourGuide and Aquaholic for an honest explanation, but none has been provided. Without any explanation, it is difficult to understand why our booking was cancelled while their boats appeared to be operating in the area and many other companies were taking passengers on the same route. Our disappointment is not simply that the tour was cancelled, but that we were given no alternative, no meaningful explanation, and were left to make our own arrangements at the last minute. Thanks to another operator, our family still had a wonderful day, but based on our experience I cannot regard Aquaholic Speed Boat Tours as a reliable provider
One of our best experiences in our trip to Montenegro. -The booking ladies were very helpful at the meeting post. -The ship was modern, fast and robust - plenty places to sit. -Our guide (Jack) was very informative, excellent english and my wife probably had a crush on him :D He also went above and beyond to make our experience awesome. -The driver did not spare on the gas but we always felt safe. Very scenic, good Captain, great swimming. The speedboat is extremely rough tho. I would choose a different boat.
Sunset boat tour was amazing. All the same sites, stops and information as the daytime, but with the most beautiful sun setting behind the mountains. I did a tour previous to this in a different city and can say the boat operation was so much smoother, navigating waves and other boats. Definitely recommend! Always bring a sweater or blanket because it gets cold on water, with wind, when sun goes down.
It took us 1.5 hours to get off our cruise ship. I left messages for Aquaholic Speedboat tours and Get your guide. I called the phone numbers for Aqualholic on our booking document and left a message. I called the number for Aqualholic on our reminder booking notification - NUMBER WAS NOT VALID. All in an attempt to state that we were on our way and currently on the tender. We arrived 3 minutes late and were informed the boat left, NO REFUND, NO OTHER TOUR.

Our phone number is correct and fully operational, and we did not receive any calls or messages from you. It appears you contacted GetYourGuide rather than us. Our booking confirmation clearly states that guests must arrive 30 minutes before departure. This is especially important in Kotor, where cruise tender operations can be unpredictable. By your own account, you arrived 3 minutes after the scheduled departure time, which means you were actually 33 minutes later than the required meeting time. Unfortunately, waiting was not an option. The majority of our guests that day were also cruise passengers from other ships with strict return times. Delaying the departure for one booking could have caused dozens of other guests to miss their ships and lose part of their experience. We understand your disappointment, but cruise tender delays are outside our control and cannot be accommodated at the expense of other guests. For this reason, the booking was treated in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions. We hope you’ll have the opportunity to visit Kotor again under better circumstances.
Was a great little trip to see 3 of Montenegro's awesome sights! Be aware that you have to swim to get to the Blue Cave. It's not a long distance, but if you're not a very strong swimmer (like me) it may be tiring. I recommend a life jacket. Also, if you're familiar with the Blue Cave in Croatia, this is NOT the same thing. Very blue and very pretty and still worth seeing, but not glowing like the Croatian cave. The speedboat was very comfortable; the guide and driver were super friendly and accommodating. Also, 20 minutes may seem a short ammount of time to be at the Our Lady of the Rocks Church, but it is a very small island and church, so I found it to be perfect. Although you do a drive-by of Perast, you do not stop. I recommend going to visit the town on your own, though!
