Die Kulturen kennzeichnen sich durch ihre Küche und die Costa Ricaner unterscheiden sich nicht - und es geht nicht nur um "Reis und Bohnen ...". Wir laden Sie ein, eine köstliche Mahlzeit aus der Region zu sich zu nehmen und das zu genießen, was wahrscheinlich zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis wird Costa Rica! Sie haben die Möglichkeit zu lernen, wie Sie unseren Lieblings-Cocktail aus Costa Rica, den "Kiss of the Cacique", mischen und anschließend ein komplettes traditionelles Casado-Gericht mit Pollo Sudado, Picadillo, handgemachten Tortillas und vielem mehr zubereiten !

Wir können Sie von Ihrem Hotel in La Fortuna abholen oder Sie treffen sich in unserem Büro in der Innenstadt von La Fortuna, 100 Meter westlich des Central Park auf der Westseite der Kirche. Die Coking-Klasse findet in unserer exklusiven Lage am Flussufer bei Hunters and Gatherers statt. Rückkehr zum ursprünglichen Abfahrtspunkt um ca. 20 Uhr

We had a great time in this local cooking class! Cathy was so kind and patient, and shared about cultural aspects of what we were cooking. We made Casado with chicken, rice and beans, vegetables and homemade tortillas - and it was delicious! Else can’t wait to make this again at home!

We (two adults + one 15-year-old) loved our cooking class with Cathy. She did a great job teaching us about the food and ingredients and some of the tradition behind them. The two much younger children in our group were able to participate, although most of the work was chopping or work near the burners, so probably best for kids 8+. Everything turned out to be delicious. One of the highlights of our trip!

My daughters and I took a cooking class with Katherine and enjoyed it very much. She taught us how to cook a traditional CR meal, including homemade tortillas which was a big hit with my teen daughters. We would highly recommend this class if you're looking for an authentic experience that includes a delicious meal.

We loved the Cook Like a Local class in La Fortuna! Kathy was fantastic, guiding our group of nine as we all got hands-on making local specialties. Cooking together and then sharing the meal made it such a fun, memorable experience. Highly recommend!

We had a cooking class one evening and had a great time with Katherine. The explanations were clear, the exchanges very pleasant. We then tasted what we had prepared, corn tortillas which were absolutely delicious served with rice , vegetables and chicken. The dessert, a rice pudding, was excellent too. We then received the proceeds. Everything was perfect!

I booked this class through my hotel. The driver was prompt and delivered us to the cooking class on time. We were greeting by the lovely Kathy who was also our cooking instructor for the evening. Kathy was a wonderful teacher as she was patient and professional. She really knows her way around the kitchen, and she imparts that knowledge on her students. We had a blast cooking traditional Costa Rican dishes and making tortillas by hand. The food was some of the best we’ve eaten on the island. At the end, we left our emails so Kathy could share her recipes with us.
