Wir können einen privaten Guide organisieren, der Ihre Sprache gegen Aufpreis spricht, je nach Verfügbarkeit, oder Sie können einer Gruppe beitreten, um einen Guide zu teilen oder den Palast auf eigene Faust mit oder ohne Audioguide zu erkunden. I found the Knossos Palace and Your Custom Adventure tour on the Viator site and booked it months ago, for four adults. This might be our only time in Crete and we wanted to understand something of the Minoan and Roman history. Due to a misunderstanding, from reading George's fantastic reviews, I thought George was an official tour guide, but realised that was wrong the day before our tour. George was extremely helpful and professional and found an excellent tour guide who would take us around the sites personally. On the day, we were absolutely delighted with Alexis (our Route C driver) and Vaggalis (our incredibly knowledgeable and knowledgeabke and thoughtful guide). Naturally, it was more expensive than the straight Custom Adventure, but it was absolutely worth the money and delived exactly the experience we wanted. Because we could customise it, we went to Knossos, Gortyna and Phaistos. Wonderful!!!! Thanks so much, George, Alexis and Vaggalis!
We spent five wonderful hours touring Crete with George from Route C, and it was the highlight of our trip. George was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the island’s history and culture. He crafted the experience perfectly for our age group—relaxed, engaging, and full of charm. His driving was smooth and safe, and his warm, smiley personality made us feel instantly at ease. It truly felt like we were exploring Crete with a friend who loves the island deeply. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personalized and memorable tour!
George was a fantastic host for the day! We traveled on Easter which we understood would be a tough time with sights to see being closed but George took us to some great areas that were available and open. We visited the Writers Tree in beautiful Krassi, then stopped to see the windmills, and a beautiful monastery that was quite special. Next we went to taste olive oil and wine and see how Cretian pottery was made - beautiful! After we walked around Heraklion center and had a nice lunch by the beach. George was knowledgeable, kind and shared many facts and stories about Greek history and culture along the way. The car was great and comfortable.
