Heraklion ist die Hauptstadt Kretas und eine der faszinierendsten und lebhaftesten Städte der Mittelmeerregion mit vielen historischen Denkmälern, die es zu besichtigen gilt. Es ist voller Orte, die es zu entdecken gilt. Knossos ist einer von ihnen, das mythische Labyrinth und die alte Hauptstadt des minoischen Kreta vor 5000 Jahren. Machen Sie diese Tour und kombinieren Sie einen Besuch im Stadtzentrum und im Palast der minoischen Zivilisation.

Reiseverlauf
Wir werden morgens beginnen, die Teilnehmer von den Abholpunkten abzuholen. Je nach Standort Ihres Hotels/Apartments unterscheidet sich die Busfahrt.
Knossos, das mythische Labyrinth und die alte Hauptstadt des minoischen Kreta vor 5000 Jahren. Unsere Teilnehmer betreten die archäologische Stätte mit unserem Vertreter, um an einer Führung für etwa 1 Stunde und 20 Minuten teilzunehmen, und genießen dann etwas Freizeit, um Fotos zu machen und den historischen minoischen Ort zu bewundern. Die Teilnehmer müssen Schlange stehen, um ihre Tickets zu erhalten und den Palast zu betreten.
Nachdem wir den Palast von Knossos verlassen haben, bringt uns unser Bus in die Stadt Heraklion. Dort nehmen die Teilnehmer an einer geführten Tour durch das Stadtzentrum und den historischen Teil von Heraklion teil, gefolgt von 2h30min Freizeit auf dem alten Markt zum Bummeln, Fotografieren und Einkaufen. Optional: Der Besuch des Archäologischen Museums von Heraklion ist optional und findet ohne Reiseleiter statt, da die strenge Regelung für den Besuch des Museums als Gruppe sehr streng ist und zu viel Zeit und Kosten in Anspruch nehmen würde.
Einsteigen in die Busse und Rückfahrt zu den Hotels, in denen wir die Teilnehmer am Morgen versammelt haben. Abhängig vom Verkehr und den Abholorten der einzelnen Busse ist die Zeit der Rückfahrt zum Hotel unterschiedlich.

Wir holen Reisende von bestimmten Punkten in den Gebieten Sisi, Malia, Stalis, Hersonissos, Anissaras, Agkisaras, Piskopiano, Koutouloufari, Gouves, Gournes, Kokkini Hani, Karteros, Amoudara, Agia Pelagia und von zwei zentral gelegenen Punkten in der Stadt Heraklion ab. Sobald Sie die Buchung vorgenommen haben, werden wir Sie kontaktieren, um Ihnen den genauen Ort und Zeitpunkt der Abholung mitzuteilen, der näher an Ihrem Hotelort liegt. This was a very interesting and educational tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and entertaining. What an amazing culture!
We had booked a tour with a guide in Italian, paying a higher price for it compared to other guided tours with a guide only in English. Unfortunately, upon arriving at Knossos we discovered that our tour guide was explaining only in English. Good, but not in the language we booked. If it is not possible to guarantee the service, it should not even be made bookable.
Ms Veronica, Which date was your reservation made? I ask because we provide this tour in Italian every Saturday and we always have Italian speaking guide. We have never done this to our clients. Perhaps you went with another company and not ''CRETAN ODYSSEY'' and it is not fair to receive this review. Visiting after 5 PM, few people, great for a relaxed visit! Very beautiful site. Explanations via free QR code, audio in English or Greek. For French, it is to be read. Otherwise, ask the AI.

I had a mixed experience with this tour. The pickup and drop off was well organized. Same applies to the ticket purchase. Needless to say, to be at Knossos is amazing in and of itself. However, what was disappointing was the informational component of the tour. Several facts shared by the tour guide were incorrect (sigh), including those pertaining to the start and end of the bronze age, the behaviour of dolphins, among others. Also, there were many misogynistic jokes/generalizations. Moreover, the city tour was very quick, without much detail.

I was so looking forward to this and Cretan Odyssey didn't disappoint. Very professional and upbeat guide. Had a fab time.
We had a very nice guided tour of Sula, who could show us much more through our small group than would have been possible with a large group, so we were also able to view smaller rooms of Knossos, while Sula told us very pleasantly about the story and towards the end of the tour of Knossos also about the origin of mythology. She was very professional, had a pleasant way of talking and she was able to inspire even my rather less interested mother about the stories of Knossos and Heraklion!
