Klein Matterhorn private Ganztageswanderung

Our Guide, Gioia, was incredible! She made sure we were able to experience the Glacial Palace, Views of the Matterhorn, Italy and France, plenty of information on the hike back to Zermatt!

Our guide Gioia was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable as we got to see the mountains, glaciers, and had a pleasant hike back down into town. She was flexible the entire time with adjusting the itinerary as we went to meet our needs. Could have certainly coordinated on our own but really appreciated having someone to help us navigate the adventure. Would certainly recommend to others.

Cedric was a wonderful guide. We met at the Zermatt station and we took the gondola to Furi to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, which included an amazing (very cold!) view of the Matterhorn and the ice palace. Then we traveled to Schwarsee Lake and the chapel then took the gondola back to Furi to Riffelberg. We hiked up to Riffelsee to see an amazing view of the Matterhorn with gorgeous reflections of Matterhorn on the lake. We stopped there for a lunch break and hiked back down to Riffelalp with a slight detour to see the sheep. It was a great day and we hit all of the highlights plus some beautiful hiking in the Zermatt area. Cedric took our preferences into consideration and took wonderful photos of us. We would highly recommend Cedric and the the Klein Matterhorn experience!

We loved our tour. One person in our group was not very interested in hiking, so our tour guide, Cedric, adjusted to what we wanted. He tooks us all around the lifts to get the most beautiful views of the Matterhorn, Zermatt village and surrounding Alps. We concluded walking down to the town through beautiful paths. He gave us the complete Swiss Alps experience.

The tour guide., Gioia is the best. Pick up time at the hotel was on time. She is very kind, helpful, professional and gave us tons of information. The best part was hiking on matterhorn trail, the best trail to see matterhorn!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Matterhorn and hike and strongly recommend this tour. Cedric kept us informed about the weather and how to layer appropriately before beginning our tour. During the tour, he was extremely knowledgeable and shared history of many churches and landmarks. Then, when we asked for his suggestions of other activities, he gave great options, told us when to depart for best weather, and where to go. He even updated us on the weather for the following day even though our tour was already over. I feel comfortable communicating with him through the rest of my stay. Cedric has made our visit to Zermatt one to remember. Highly recommend.

My husband and I traveled with our 2 daughters, 17 and 19, to Switzerland for 10 days. Our first stop was Zermott for 2 nights. We decided to go with a private guide because one of us was recovering from foot surgery and we wanted the option of going slower and having a more tailored experience. I cannot say enough great things about our guide, Cedric! Starting with wanting to head out early to beat the crowds, he was able to give us tons of information as we walked through Zermot to the first gondola stop. Cedric helped us navigate the gondola ticket purchase, etc. He had tons of helpful tips such as the "free" bathrooms (the ones up top you had to pay for...no sewage), where the best hiking was, the history of the little towns we saw, and the local wildlife. No bears, very few wolves, no turtles. He was very knowledgeable of all the peaks at the top of Klein Matterhorn and where to take the best pics. Also, he was able to provide recommendations places for food, gear, etc. I would definitely hire Cedric if it's your first time to Zermott. Worth it!
