Drei Plätze an einem Tag * Kbal Spean: 1,5 km bergauf wandern, um Flussbett-Schnitzereien von 1000 Shiva Linga und anderen wichtigen Hindu-Lords aus dem 9. Jahrhundert zu sehen * Banteay Srei Tempel: Es wird vermutet, dass dieser Tempel von Frauen gebaut wurde, da der Sandstein für den Bau dieses Tempels verwendet wurde. Er hat eine rosa Farbe, ist klein und die Dekoration ist sehr kompliziert. * Banteay Samre Tempel: Einer der am besten erhaltenen Tempel des späten 12. Jahrhunderts und der friedliche Tempel in Angkor.

Wir werden Sie abholen und nach dem Frühstück um 8 Uhr losfahren. Wir beginnen diese Tour mit Kbal Spean, das etwa 45 km von Siem Reap City entfernt ist. Diese Tour wird Besuchern empfohlen, die fit sind, es ist ein Bergauf mit vielen Auf und Ab. Hier sehen Sie den "Fluss eines 1000 Lingas", eine Sammlung alter Steinmetzarbeiten und Myriaden von Lingums. Diese phallischen Symbole von Shiva sind im und am Flussbett zu finden. Es gibt auch Schnitzereien der anderen Götter, darunter Vishnu, Brahma, Lakshmi.
Dann geht es weiter nach Banteay Srei, die auf Englisch "Zitadelle der Frauen" genannt wird. Es wird angenommen, dass die Schnitzereien so kompliziert sind, dass sie nur von den zarten Händen von Frauen geschnitzt werden könnten. Dieser atemberaubende Tempel ist ein Muss für jeden, der die faszinierende Geschichte der Khmer kennen lernen möchte. Stattdessen wurde der Banteay Srey-Tempel in der Regierungszeit von zwei Königen Rajendravarman II und Jayavarman V erbaut. Die 3 Hauptschreine des Gebäudes waren Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu und Lord Brahma gewidmet.
Schließlich geht es weiter nach Banteay Samre. Dies ist ein Hindu-Tempel aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, der im Stil von Angkor Wat erbaut wurde. Banteay Samre ist ein großartiger Tempel, den man besuchen kann, da er sich abseits der Touristenpfade befindet und man kann diesen herrlichen Tempel in relativ ruhiger Atmosphäre genießen, wenn man die vielen Touristen, die Angkor Wat jeden Tag besuchen, vergleicht.

Excellent tour. Went to Banteay Srei and Kbal Spean in the morning before having lunch. Went to Banteay Samre in the afternoon. Tour guide very good.

This is an amazing tour. Chopin Sophat was our tour guide and Dinna was our driver. They are the best of our 6 day travel in Cambodia. Sophat is very knowledgeable on nearly all the subjects we were interested, including the history, the culture, the modern day life’s, the nature and all kinds of things in Cambodia, and not just limited to where we went. Khai Spean is very unique, which you cannot find in other parts of Siem Reap. Bandeay Srei is one of the most significant temples. Banteay Samre is another beautiful temple to see. They both have taken really good care of us. The cold water and lemongrass fragranced cold towel after each site and hiking was very refreshing. They drove with safety and cautions. We were comfortable all the way. We highly recommend this tour.

Nice hike up to the waterfall over rocky paths with some flat and a little elevation. The waterfall is really nice to see. Banteay Srei is fantastic, with very nice carvings and Banteay Samre was very pretty and special. It was quieter than many of the other ruins. The tour guide was helpful and good humored and told some interesting stories about life in Cambodia.

The walk to the site was easy going. The mix of the forest, the water, the carvings, the river, the waterfall, and picnicking locals charmed us all. A good complement to Angkor.
