Kauai Kreuzfahrtschiff Landausflug zum Waimea Canyon

Beschreibung

We had a very knowledgeable driver who narrated our excursion. Lots of beauty to see on our stops as well as along the way.
Leone was awesome! He was full of interesting facts and knowledge. The tour was relaxing, informative, and full of great views. We really enjoyed it.
Aloha Andrea, Leone enjoys sharing his aloha and knowledge of the Islands inter beauty. Kauai know as the Garden Island has so many interesting stories and Leone loves sharing them. Mahalo,
We loved this tour with Leone. It was nice to be in a big bus with comfortable seats and AC. Leone was awesome! So knowledgeable and accommodating!
Aloha Nandreac, Thank you for sharing your tour experience and time with Leone. You compliments have been relayed to Leone. Mahalo again,
Our driver, Leone, did an excellent job of giving information about where we traveled. We got to see other things besides Waimea Canyon which I would have missed if we had gone on our own. Waimea Canyon was incredible! I felt we had adequate time at each stop without pressure to hurry up and move on.
Really nice way to visit the island. Great comfortable motor coach and entertaining tour guide/driver.
Leone was entertaining and very knowledgable about the history of Hawaii. The tour was fantastic and we highly recommend him as a tour guide on Kawai.
Aloha Edward, We appreciate your compliments. Leone loves sharing his knowledge and aloha spirit with everyone. Until we meet again, Mahalo,
It might be cloudy at first but take your time and the clouds will clear for some beautiful views. We were very impressed.
Aloha Karl, Thank you for your sharing your experience and your excellent review. Mahalo,
This excursion on the island of Kaua'i was booked through Viator with Roberts Hawaii Tours. While the large bus was the most modern we were on during our time in Hawaii, and the driver/guide and tour itself were excellent, the meeting instructions given in advance left much to be desired. We were only given the time and an address for the pickup point. We left the ship as soon as we were allowed, after it docked, so we could figure out where the meeting point was, with little luck. Finally I phoned the number provided to get details. Somehow, Roberts Hawaii had been told that the ship would dock an hour later; so pickup would be an hour later. And, the description given to me of whom we were to look for was a bit vague. But, we did eventually connect. Our driver was courteous and very knowledgeable. We first stopped at the Hanapepe Valley Lookout, then at the Spouting Horn blowhole to see the water shooting into the air from the lava tube. We drove up the winding road to the Waimea Canyon State Park Lookout area. It was extremely windy and chilly this particular day, but it was definitely worth the climb and look! Mark Twain called this the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific". While it isn't as massive as the Grand Canyon in Arizona, it is breathtaking and beautiful. We could see a beautiful waterfall across the canyon from the lookout. In the winter, the colors of the canyon are more easily seen as there is less vegetation interfering with views; so we could see reds, browns and greens in the layers.
Aloha Harold, Thank you for sharing your experience with Shore Excursion. Kauai is my favorite island although I live on Oahu. Theirs's a lot to see on our Garden Island. Until we meet again. Aloha,
Donna was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and was entertaining. We had a great time and the views were fantastic.
Aloha Amanda, Mahalo for sharing your wonderful experience and compliments. We appreciate you review. Aloha,
We arrived in Kauai on the NCL Pride of America on 11/13/25, we had booked this tour directly through Robert's Hawaii. There were two buses for Robert's at the pier. When we boarded the second bus our driver mentioned that she had heard about a fire at the canyon that morning, but didn't make it out to be a big deal, and no offer of refund or cancellation was made. Had we known that we would be unable to visit the canyon we would have cancelled. The only reason we booked this excursion was to see the Waimea Canyon. During the tour, we were informed that due to the fire , we would not be visiting the canyon and were taken to the city of Waimea where most stores and food trucks were not opened yet. This destination had nothing of interest to us. It seemed as if it was an attempt to fill the time that should have been spent at the canyon. To make matters worse, we later spoke to many other cruisers on the ship that were able to visit Waimea Canyon that day, either through cruise line excursion or another outside tour provider. This suggests that the closure was temporary and that Robert's Hawaii was poorly informed, but still took us out without proper notice or offer of a refund. I have been in touch with Robert's Hawaii and have received very little response. This experience was a massive disappointment and a waste of money. Stay Away
Aloha Paul, Unfortunately, at the time of the report. We had no idea of what the nature of the fire was. My apologies for not meeting your expectations. Please contact me at sightnsea@robertshawaii.com and I'll see is we can assist with a discount. Mahalo,
