Spent too much time at JamWest beach, only got 40 minutes at Ricks Cafe would just go in a taxi next time to have more time at Ricks. Booked through Tui and it stated we got lunch and snacks on boat but all we received was crisps. Would defo go back to ricks but would just get a taxi next time
This is a shared scheduled tour and not private hence, they are set times for each location, while we understand customers preference for longer stay at a particular stop on the experience, we have a schedule to execute on time, and customer is free to explore the newly found location on their own time.
This was a good excursion. I felt there were too many people on the catamaran (60+). The transport from the catamaran to Ricks Cafe had to make two trips it was so many people. The time spent at Ricks was too short. There wasn't enough time to order and eat your food. We actually had to cancel our food order because it wasn't ready in time for us to return to the catamaran. The snorkeling portion of this cruise didn't last long enough either. The coral reefs were beautiful!
The cruise and the ricks cafe are not affiliated and as such, we're not responsible for the service time for the food we don't recommend any done-to-order menu item on our stop there as we're not in a position to control their operations. The cruise is shared 3 hours with stops so you would imagine, that times are slotted and limited
