Lion's Head ist ein freistehender Gipfel neben dem Tafelberg mit einer Höhe von 669 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Die Route führt spiralförmig umher und bietet Ihnen einen 360-Grad-Panoramablick. Die Aussicht umfasst den Tafelberg, den Devil's Peak, Robben Island, die Tafelbucht, Camps Bay und die Stadt. Es gibt einige Leitern, Ketten und Heftklammern zu überwinden, was das Abenteuergefühl verstärkt. Es dient auch als großartige Alternative, wenn der Tafelberg von Wolken bedeckt ist. An experience of a class of its own - especially if you want to experience the awakening of a metropolis in wonderful nature with an experienced guide.
We booked this at the very last minute but Ute but Lynette was very accommodating. It was great fun hiking up in the dark/ semi dark and Lynette was knowledgeable, entertaining and encouraging. It was a scramble at the top but she showed us exactly what to do and it was less challenging than I feared! I saw afterwards that this was more expensive than other tours on booking.com but I have no regret as we had a top quality guide.
We went for sunrise up on Lions head. First of all, all communication with OTC was perfect. Kathy our guide was super, she was on time, she was friendly and was packed full of information, we learnt alot. All in all it was a great experience
I have been hiking on Cape Town for over 15 years. The last 8 I have always been guided by Lynette from OTC Adventures. Lynette is the most professional and knowledgeable guide I have come across. Lynette was a fantastic guide. We did the sunrise lions head hike with her. I (24F) travelled with my 17 year old sister so having a guide who made us feel safe, especially hiking in the dark, was very important. Lynette was very kind and experienced and ensured we were safe the whole route. We got a fantastic view at the top and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you!
