We recently took our family on a tour of the Cape of Good Hope with HYMCAPETOURS and had an amazing experience! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and made sure everyone in our family had a great time. The tour was well-organized and tailored to our family's needs. We highly recommend HYMCAPETOURS to any families looking for a fun and educational tour!
Excellent full day experience, great driver/guide. However the start of the day was a bit bumpy: the driver had to pick-up three people in the cruise terminal, but he did not manage to find those people. It took us more than an hour (waiting), when finally they met each other. The story of the three people is that they were well in time at the agreed place, but there was no way for them to recognize the tour guide (was not wearing any type of sign) => this can be improved!
Dear valued customer, We apologise for the mishap on the day of your tour. Of course, we have taken note of that and we promise to improve our services in future. We will work on that. Thank you!
Our guide-driver Bosco is very knowledgeable and caring person and always made sure we are getting the best views, short line, good stop for coffee or food. He took a photo shots of us to make this trip memorable ( at our request).
Dear valued guest Thank you very much for your review.
It was an amazing experience. From the moment our guide Felix arrived at my hotel in his white Mercedes it was a 5 star experience. Then we picked up James and Helen who by the way are wonderful tour buddies. (Grandma and Grandpa card). Felix expanded our minds and broadened our horizons with every mile, there was something interesting and educating he would let us in. His driving was smooth and clean, he would stop at places with fascinating views for us to take picture. And we had some awesome coffee break along the way and lunch at at place where the mini-burger isn't so mini afterall. The food was tasty and very filling. I can't wait to do this all over again soon.
Dear valued guest, Thank you very much for your review we are glad and proud to see you at Cape point light house. Please don't reveal our secret about late bookings. We can't wait to host you again . Thanks 😊
The best thing was Felix our driver was so adaptable with the weather and adjusted the trip accordingly. He was very informative. The views from the Cape were very nice.
Dear valued guest, thank you very much for your review. All the best
Prompt, reliable, friendly and professional are all words which describe Felix, our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and caring. He was very flexible and helped us to have an awesome time.We got the best photos and created great memories.
Glad you had a great experience, Thank you very much. All the best
The service was great. I have learned a lot of useful knowledge regarding the history of South Africa as well.
Thank you for having a great time with us and we are glad to be your host in Cape Town 😀
South Africa is a country of extremes, so it is unsurprising that in Johannesburg (the worst the country has to offer) we experienced our best tours and in Cape Town (the very best) we experienced our worst. Our tour was very simple: a few photo ops as we drove to Hout Bay for the boat ride to Seal Island and then on to Cape Point Natural Reserve, ending at the Boulders Penguin Colony. Sounds simple, right? • Bo-Kaap 10 minutes • Camp's Bay Beach 10 minutes • Hout Bay Seal Island Boat Ride 40 minutes • Chapman's Peak Drive 15 minutes • Cape Point Ostrich Farm 5 minutes • Cape Point Natural Reserve 2 hours • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony 1 hour The challenge began with Batende Travel & Tours and their absolute lack of communication. No information about hotel pickup arrangements at all. I contacted Felix Batende early the day before the tour and – nothing. Not until I repeatedly contacted him did he finally reply that evening with an abrupt “Sure, will confirm shortly”. Two hours later, pickup was confirmed for 7:20-7:30 am the next morning. At 7:15 am we were outside the hotel waiting when Armand (our driver and guide) drove up and we hopped into his van. En route to pick up others, we learned (1) there would be 12 of us in the van, not a maximum of 10 as advertised and (2) the tour would include a stop at Table Mountain so the others could spend time there. I asked about the Seal Island boat ride and Armand was doubtful it would be included. We chose our tour specifically because it did NOT include Table Mountain (we had already done this) and because we wanted to do the Seal Island boat trip. Batende changed our tour without informing us. Armand said he would do his best to squeeze in the Boat Trip. However, as we went around Cape Town to pick up the other 10 guests, one of our group was not at her hotel and we waited for her. She did not show so eventually we went off to Table Mountain. Once there, Armand gave the group specific instructions about returning to the van. One family chose to ignore his instructions and so we spent an additional half-hour waiting for them to appear. At that point Armand said we could not make the Seal Island boat trip. It was now 3.5 hours after our pickup, and we were just starting our tour. As a result, we missed the boat trip. We also did not stop at Camp’s Bay, or at Hout Bay, or at the Ostrich Farm. I do not fault Armand; he did his best. The problem lies clearly with Felix Batende for changing our tour, and for not communicating with us.
Able to see round the entire coast and topped of with the penguins, cape of good hope, seals and bo-kaap. Treasure, our guide was great, nothing was too much trouble and very on.
Thank you very much for your review I am glad you had a great experience with Tresor
We used Felix for two day trips. He was a fantastic host, very informative and friendly. The minibus was immaculate, cold water provided whenever we wanted it, and nicely air conditioned on two hot days. I would completely recommend Felix for any trips, and he will be my first point of contact when we return.
Thank you very much for your review can't wait to host you again
