Kananaskis River Rafting Abenteuer

Felt extremely safe during entire trip. Every went above and beyond making sure you’re having fun and comfortable. My only suggestion is to add more details to what expect and what to bring.

Great fun. Staff were fun and energetic. Best to wear swim suits under wet suit and change clothes at your car at the end. We paid $20 CAD to get the high resolution photos on a USB drive but low resolution pics are free from their website

Great family or friend group experience for your Banff trip. We had a family group of 4 ages 44-76. But families with children were there too. On a warm sunny day in late August, the water was refreshing. Full wet suit and booties are provided, with a helmet and life jacket. One hour of preparation including check-in, instructions for wetsuit and gear, receive gear and get dressed, 20-minute school bus transport from meeting spot to the rafting start, on-site instructions, and loading into raft. 90 minutes rafting. Then 5-minute bus ride from ending back to meeting spot, change into your dry clothes, return your wetsuit and safety gear, enjoy snacks and free photos . A bit of effort required for paddling, but not difficult. More work in first half of the trip. They will combine parties into groups of 7-9 people in a boat plus the guide, who gives instructions along the entire route. Must leave wallet, phone, jewelry, towels, shoes in your car. Just yourself and your swimsuit. Guide Dani was phenomenal.

This was a great raft trip. Appreciated how close we were and the bus ride wasn’t really long especially after the trip. Our guide Dani is super friendly and entertaining. She even managed her Spanish skills with the Spanish family we had. Our child enjoyed every minute in the front a great trip overall.

Our group of 9 had an absolutely brilliant day! We are all 60 plus in age so we weren’t looking for ‘extreme’ white water rafting. Our excursion today was had the perfect mix of fun and taking in the gorgeous scenery of the Kananaskis. Two in our group were from Ireland that had never done anything like this before., and they loved it! The guides were very good at reviewing all the safety protocols mixed in with some humour as well. Our guide Georgia was very professional. We learned that she took her training in her native New Zealand, and has experience in rafting in many parts of the world. Base camp was easily accessible from Calgary. As well it is a short distance to Canmore where we finished off our day with a lovely dinner. We would highly recommend this experience! Thanks for a day we will all remember!

Entire team was great. It was overall a fun and memorable experience. Our guide Georgia and as very experienced. Felt safe the entire time.

Prami was a great guide and made our trip a lot of fun. This is a very easy ride for most with a bit of thrill added for laughs. We will go again.

This rafting adventure was outstanding. This company is well organized and employs safety-oriented staff. From beginning to end, our entire family had a memorable excursion. With family members from 7 to 72 years old, we all agreed that this activity was one of our best in Banff region! I highly recommend this trip.

Shac was the best. We had a beautiful day on the river and she was an excellent guide. Definitely worth the value and what beautiful scenery.
