We enjoyed the itinerary which brought us to many top sights in one day. Naveen took hood good care of us. He is good at this and provided good information, clear directions and instructions at the sights and he is a good driver!

This was supposed to be a 10 hour trip, but actually being a 13 hour trip. The driver left much to be desired at the meeting spot. He did not announce his name or what tour it was. He just stood outside the van and everybody had to go up to inquire what the tour was and if he had their name on the list. I sat in the first row of the van and the middle seat did not have the clip for the seatbelt, but they placed someone in that seat anyway without the safety of an operational seat belt. Once in the van, the driver again failed to introduce himself or welcome us. We drove an absolute silence for the first hour not a word from driver and when you asked him a question, he just muttered a brief answer and was hard to understand with his accent. He gave us no overview of the trip just drove in silence until we were at the first stop and then we received little information. When we arrived at Emerald Lake, there was confusion from the driver about return time so some of the people were a few minutes late. He was quite agitated and threatened us to threaten to leave us if we did it again at future stops. We just felt like we were on our own, very little, if any, information where things were, like restrooms, places to eat, suggestions, etc. Whoever planned the itinerary was this tour was a joke giving us only 35 minutes for lunch break at Lake Louise Village where there was limited food option and many tour buses there, so long lines everywhere, even at the toilets, and we did not have time even to place our orders. Had to grab some crappy sandwich at a convenience/grocery store and gulp it down. Water was not offered by the driver so I had to ask for a bottle of water. We left at 8 am and got back to the Delta Hotel in Calgary at 9 pm. We did see all the sights described in the tour. Based on our experience, we would not chose Matrix again for a tour. Poor planning of the itinerary in regards to the lunch break and a driver who did as little as possible, was uncommunicative, and seemed almost to resent his passengers. I’ve been on tours where the driver was most informative and helpful, most of all friendly and welcoming, and this driver failed miserably in this regard. I do not recommend Matrix for tours and would chose another company.
Great way to visit the sights. We Do not have to worry about parking. Drop off at the main site. The driver/ tour guide points you in the right direction so you get the best bang of your buck.

Trip started off a bit rocky as I was put in the larger group, but we had different pickup locations. I had to take a separate bus before joining the main group. The pickup method was a bit chaotic, but it seems that it was the same for all the other tour groups as well. But once we settled in with everyone, things went pretty smoothly. Ashish was a great tour guide! We managed to hit up all the planned stops and he helped everyone take excellent pictures. We got some fun facts for each of the destinations before we arrived. It was a fun group and Ashish definitely ensured everyone had a great time (while still staying on schedule).

This itinerary encompasses the most stunning, gorgeous lakes in the region, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Emerald Lake, plus Johnston Canyon. Our guide, Aashish, was superb - knowledgable, friendly, thoughtful and fun! He shared interesting facts about each location, took amazing photos of our group (2 couples) at each location, and allowed more than adequate time to see each area without feeling rushed. He washed the bus windows at our first stop so that photos we took on the road were clear and not full of smudges, bugs, etc. He kept our group on time. At 21 people, our group was small enough to feel like a personal experience, unlike some of the large bus tours serving 55 to 80 people. Aashish went on some of the hikes with us, which was also very heloful. He is an excellent, safe driver. This tour took the worry out of planning the stops yourself, and finding a parking spot, figuring out where to pick up the trails, and knowing where to stand for the best photos. I highly recommend this tour and would happily take another tour with Aashish! He's THE BEST!
