Steigen Sie in unseren Custom Jeep Gladiator und fahren Sie zehn Minuten Richtung Norden in den Tonto National Forest, um im Gelände langsam durch den Rackensack Canyon zu kraxeln. Ihr erfahrener Wüstenführer wird Ihnen einzigartige Pflanzen der rauen oberen Sonora-Wüste zeigen und Ihnen die alten indianischen Ruinen des Canyons erklären. Sie erklimmen dann 274 Meter über 2,5 Kilometer in die Chaparral-Vegetationszone mit atemberaubenden Ausblicken auf einem 1.377 Meter hohen Gipfel. Die kurze Fahrt zum Gipfel kann etwas staubig und holprig sein, ist aber auch ein aufregender Spaß mit unterhaltsamen Erzählungen und lehrreichen Fotostopps entlang des Weges. Im Rammed Earth, Mountain Top Studio genießen Sie kostenlose Snacks und haben freie Zeit, um auf der Terrasse zu entspannen und dabei atemberaubende Ausblicke zu genießen oder sich im Steer Head Roping, Cornhole und Horseshoes zu versuchen, bevor Sie nach Civilization zurückkehren.

We had such an amazing jeep tour to the mountaintop. This trip was with my girlfriends for my 40th bday and it did not disappoint. They made it so personal and inviting. We met Ginger and Charles at the top and they were able to share bits of their lives with us. We had such a great time and wonderful conversation. This was the highlight of my trip! Our tour guide, Dave, was wonderful, you could tell he truly enjoyed what he was doing and sharing information of the desert and the area. Such a treat!

We took our young grandson and it was really great! The views and terrain were incredible, and stops were educational. The hosts are so welcoming. We got to go into a retired mine, which prompted plenty of questions in the group. Can't wait to take visiting friends!

Amazing experience! Paul was a fantastic guide! Meeting Charles and Ginger at their beautiful mountaintop home was delightful. The hospitality was tremendous. This is a MUST do when visiting the Phoenix / Scottsdale area. Get there early as the town of Carefree is truly awesome.

This was a wonderful Jeep tour! Dave, the driver, was do friendly and informative. He talked about the local flora and fauna in our way up to the top. Ginger and Charlie were very welcoming and we loved their beautiful casita. The cookies and refreshments were a real treat! The view from their patio is amazing and the hummingbirds kept us entertained! I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone in the Phoenix/Mesa area!

We enjoyed our Jeep tour with Dave, the driver, and Ginger and Charlie, the owners! We learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the desert from Dave. Charlie and Ginger were so hospitable in welcoming us to their beautiful casita! The snacks, drinks and restrooms were a nice bonus at the top of the mountain. The view from the patio was amazing and the hummingbirds kept us entertained. We spent the evening in Carefree which is a beautiful place.
