Der Jean-Talon-Markt ist ein etablierter Bauernmarkt unter freiem Himmel mit vielen Händlern, die Obst, Gemüse, Fleisch, Käse, Fisch und Backwaren verkaufen. Er ist der größte Markt in Montreal und einer der größten Märkte unter freiem Himmel in Nordamerika.
Eine historische Feuerwache, die ursprünglich im frühen 20. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde und eine zentrale Rolle im Brandschutz von Montreal spielte. Das Gebäude selbst ist ein architektonisches Juwel, dessen markante rote Backsteinfassade und klassisches Design den Bürgerstolz der Zeit widerspiegeln.
Little Italy ist ein charmantes Wohnviertel mitten in Montreal voller Cafés, Pizzerien, italienischer Lebensmittelgeschäfte und traditioneller Bäckereien. Seine Wurzeln reichen zurück bis ins späte 19. und frühe 20. Jahrhundert, als Wellen italienischer Einwanderer nach Montreal kamen und sich in der Gegend niederließen.
Geschäftiger, alteingesessener italienischer Lebensmittelladen mit Käse, Fleisch und Brot sowie Fertiggerichten. Fruiterie Milano ist eine echte historische Institution der Metropole. Seit über 60 Jahren bedient sie die Einwohner Montreals und zieht Touristen an.
Die ehemalige Kirche Saint-Jean-de-la-Croix in Montréal, erbaut 1910–1927, wurde 2003 teilweise abgerissen und durch ein Apartmentgebäude mit ähnlichem Volumen des Architekten Alphonse Gratton ersetzt.
Der Parc de la Petite-Italie ist ein Park zum Entspannen, Genießen der Naturlandschaft oder für Outdoor-Aktivitäten. Dieser am 26. Juni 1963 eingeweihte Ort entwickelte sich schnell zum Herzen von Petite Italie. Er symbolisiert den Beitrag der größten italienischen Gemeinde Kanadas zur Entwicklung und zum Wohlstand Montreals.

Little Italy/Jean-Talon Tour: great knowledgeable guide (Lucas) that was relaxed but organized, and kept the ball rolling without stressing anybody out, yet giving us some time to wander. I think the tour also has a good balance of sweet and savoury, drinks and food, but maybe one more savoury place would have been welcome to leave "full", although I didn't leave hungry at all. Easy to park around the meeting point and easy to get to by metro/bus.

The food tour was amazing! We had the opportunity to try 9 different food/drink tastings, and every stop was delicious. Our tour guide, Eric truly went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable for everyone—from the youngest child to the adults in our group.
