Ein Palast im Rajput-Stil befindet sich im Zentrum des Sees Man Sagar. Der Palast wurde ursprünglich 1699 erbaut; Das Gebäude und der umliegende See wurden später im 18. Jahrhundert von Maharaja Jai Singh II von Amber renoviert und erweitert.
Der Stadtpalast von Jaipur ist einer der wichtigsten Orte in der Stadt und befindet sich im Zentrum des alten Jaipur. City Palace ist eine seltene Kombination der feinsten Mischungen aus Rajasthani- und Mughal-Architektur. Es gibt Weltklasse-Paläste und Festungen, die meistens als historische Hotels dienen, um die Könige zu erleben. 1876 wird diese Stadt rosa gestrichen, um Königin Elizabeth II. und Prinz Albert willkommen zu heißen. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh ist der Gründer der Stadt.
Jantar Mantar ist ein faszinierendes astronomisches Observatorium im Herzen der Stadt. Es verfügt über eine Sammlung von 19 astronomischen Instrumenten, die vom Rajput-König Sawai Jai Singh II, dem Gründer von Jaipur, Rajasthan, gebaut wurden. Das Denkmal wurde 1734 fertiggestellt. Es verfügt über die größte steinerne Sonnenuhr der Welt und gehört zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Es liegt in der Nähe des Stadtpalastes und des Hawa Mahal.
Hawa Mahal, auch bekannt als „Palast der Brise“, wurde 1799 als Erweiterung des königlichen Stadtpalastes von Jaipur erbaut. Es ermöglicht den königlichen Damen, die damals streng „pardah“ einhielten, alle Prozessionen und Aktivitäten auf der Straße zu beobachten, ohne von der Öffentlichkeit gesehen zu werden.
Das Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur ist das älteste Museum des Bundesstaates und dient als Staatsmuseum von Rajasthan, Indien. Es ist ein schönes Beispiel für indo-sarazenische Architektur und befindet sich im Garten von Ram Niwas außerhalb der Stadtmauer gegenüber dem Neuen Tor. Es ist auch als Government Central Museum bekannt.

I had a great experience with Ali. He drove me around and give me tips on how to avoid crowd and even would tell you how to avoid getting scam or ripped off. I stayed 3 days in Jaipur and got to experience it without rushing, and took me to local restaurants also for our lunch breaks.
Ali was our best and favourite guide all throughout India. We are from Canada and found his English very good! We travelled for a month and Ali was one of our best! Reach out to him if your in the area- he knows the city and area very well. Thanks for the great days Ali!

Thanks to our guide Ali we had two great days in Udaipur. In those days we covered everything which Udaipur is famous for, but besides that we had not just a guide next to us, but a friend. We were feeling like his guests all the time.

Ali is a really nice and knowledgeable guide. He did a custom tour for us according to our needs. Showing us places we hadn't seen so far like the Monkey Temple. On our request he took us for street food as well, showing us something different from the traditional restaurants.

I had a superb couple of trips with the very friendly Ali. First of all Ali is a local man born in Jaipur so he knows his way around. ( Some drivers don't) Second he is reliable and punctual. He is straightforward about costs. Third he waited ages for me when I visited the Jaipur Block Printing place and I really enjoyed myself. Lastly I am a solo female traveller. It is VERY important to feel safe and I did. 😃 Today I visited the Anokhi Museum for a demonstration of block printing , the Amer Fort, The Step Well and The Lake Palace.
