Keine Reise nach Jaipur wäre vollständig ohne einen Besuch im weltberühmten Palast der Winde, dem Hawa Mahal. Es wurde von Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh erbaut, um die Damen des königlichen Hofes unterzubringen. Die berühmte rosafarbene Pyramidenfassade verfügt über viele Gitterfenster, die den Eintritt ermöglichten Damen, die draußen sehen, aber selbst nicht gesehen werden.
Zurück in der Pink City ist das Jantar Mantar, Maharaja Jai Singhs riesiges astronomisches Observatorium, ein unverzichtbares Ziel. Dieses Weltkulturerbe ist voller riesiger Sonnenuhren und eckiger Konstruktionen, die verwendet wurden von den königlichen Astronomen entwickelt, um die Bewegungen der Sonne, der Planeten und Sternbilder zu verfolgen. Man sagt, dass die zentrale Sonnenuhr die Zeit mit einer Genauigkeit von 2 Sekunden anzeigen kann.
Die meisten Besucher von Jaipur möchten den Stadtpalast sehen, der nur wenige Minuten vom Jantar Mantar entfernt liegt. Der Palastkomplex umfasst die Paläste Chandra Mahal und Mubarak Mahal sowie andere Gebäude und ist noch immer die Heimat der königlichen Familie von Jaipur. Es wurde von Maharaja erbaut Sawai Jai Singh II., als er seinen königlichen Hof von Amber nach Jaipur verlegte.
In der Nähe der Amber-Festung befindet sich das Jal Mahal im Rajput-Stil, ein atemberaubender Wasserpalast, der auf der Oberfläche des Man-Sagar-Sees zu schweben scheint. Das Jal Mahal stammt aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und war einst einer der Lieblingspaläste der Königsfamilie von Jaipur.
In Jaipur, bekannt für seine Festungen und Paläste, besuchen Sie alle wichtigen Touristenattraktionen. Nachdem Sie die oben genannten Orte erkundet haben, können Sie den lokalen Markt Ihrer Wahl in Jaipur besuchen.
Bei Royal Gator sehen Sie die alten Gräber und Mausoleen der Jaipur Maharadschas und der königlichen Familie, darunter das Grab des Stadtgründers Jai Singh. Die Marmorkuppeln und -säulen sind der perfekte Ort für ein exotisches Selfie!
Gegen Ende des Tages unternehmen viele Besucher gerne einen gemütlichen Spaziergang durch das Albert Hall Museum, das staatliche Museum von Rajasthan. Das Gebäude ist ein schönes Beispiel indo-sarazenischer Architektur. Das Museum beherbergt eine reiche Sammlung von Artefakten, darunter Gemälde, Schmuck, Teppiche, Elfenbein, Stein, Metallskulpturen und Arbeiten aus Kristall.
Kein Besuch in der Pink City ist vollständig, ohne einen der Basare gesehen zu haben. Diese belebten Einkaufsstraßen und Gassen sind voller Geschäfte und Stände, die alles verkaufen, was Sie sich vorstellen können, von Gewürzen, Obst, Schmuck und Kleidung bis hin zu traditionellem handgefertigtem Küchenbesteck. Wenn Sie möchten, können Sie ein Stück laufen oder wir fahren einfach durch den Basar.

We spent a fantastic 12 days with Naresh driving through Rajasthan from Ranthambore to Jaiselmer! His English is perfect, and he is extremely thoughtful - he even stocks the car with refreshments! As two young girls travelling alone, he kept us very safe and always looked out for us! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and he has a very inspiring life story.
Don’t be fouled by the ridiculously low price for a day spent exploring Jaipur. If you are looking for a personalised tour with someone to cover all of your needs in Jaipur and the surrounding areas, Naresh is your man 👍 His extensive knowledge of the city and area is amazing and he is so accommodating with what you desire for your time with him. He’s not a tour guide - But he’s a very knowledgeable driver and whatever and wherever your needs are he will go out of his way to help you. Advising on prices to pay, tours that may interest you or listening to a tale from his past. Naresh is the kindest, polite, helpful and humble person you could want to meet and we loved spending time with him. Five star plus service and a great sense of humour. We had a coffee with him and we even went to the supermarket with him for essentials that we needed for our upcoming days - Nothing was too much trouble. What a great tour today with Naresh we had! Communication before the tour was great, and today he was prompt, friendly, helpful and good fun. He is very interesting and great company for the day. Perfect chap for us, as we didn't want a full guide, just some information about the different sights we wanted to see. Naresh was flexible in dropping some places and adding others according to our preferences, which was great. Importantly (for us) was the fact that he did not take us into any shops in order to receive commission. He absolutely does not entertain this, but of course if there is anywhere that you want to visit, just let him know. When he dropped us at a sight he would say exactly where we were to go and remind us how much to pay, which was great as twice we were asked for more by the ticketers. We enjoyed masala chai and samosas with him, where the locals eat, as we requested. Honestly can't recommend him highly enough, a real good guy and a safe, careful driver. Thanks Naresh, you're a star!

We absolutely loved our tour with Rauf. Not only did Naresh help us to get in contact with Rauf but he gave us the best driver we could’ve asked for. From a great sense of, friendly nature and a great sense of humor, to making us feel safe as women traveling in India, we were blown away by his hospitality and patience.
