Wir werden in den ägyptischen Basar gehen, um Gewürze, türkische Desserts, Köstlichkeiten, Pistazienkaffee zu probieren. Auch wir kaufen Käse, Oliven, Honig, cremige Milch für das türkische Frühstück
Wir besuchen einen der ältesten Han im Herzen Istanbuls, um Tee und Pide zu trinken, ein traditionelles türkisches Fladenbrot, das im Steinofen gebacken und mit Zutaten wie Käse, Hackfleisch oder Gemüse belegt wird. Pide wird oft als „türkische Pizza“ bezeichnet und ist beliebt für seine knusprige Kruste, seine reichen Aromen und sein frisch gebackenes Aroma.

Özcan Turşuları ist eine der bekannten traditionellen Gurkenhandlungen in Kadıköy, berühmt für ihre handgemachten türkischen Gurken, die mit klassischen Rezepten und natürlichen Fermentationsmethoden zubereitet werden. Very poor the tour operator didn’t turn up! We waited for an hour and called but he said he didn’t get the email
I've done a few food tours in cities and this was one of the best. Sude was a fantastic guide, very knowlegable and personable. We learnt about some of Istanbul and Turkey's history and tried some foods at some places we would not have otherwise. Very highly recommend this tour.

We did the food tour on our very first day in Istanbul and it was the best decision we made!
