Der Dolmabahçe-Palast, 1856 vom osmanischen Sultan Abdülmecit am Ufer des Bosporus erbaut, ist mit seiner herrlichen Aussicht, die Spuren westlicher Architektur trägt, eines der wichtigsten Wahrzeichen Istanbuls.

Anadoluhisarı wurde zwischen 1393 und 1394 im Auftrag des osmanischen Sultans Bayezid I. als Teil seiner Vorbereitungen für eine Belagerung der damals byzantinischen Stadt Konstantinopel erbaut.
Der Kucuksu-Pavillon (Küçüksu Kasrı) befindet sich im Gebiet zwischen den Flüssen Küçüksu und Göksu im Bosporus und stammt aus der byzantinischen Zeit. Küçüksu war während der osmanischen Zeit einer der privaten Gärten des Sultans. Es ist bekannt, dass Murad IV. (1623-1640) liebte sie und nannte sie „Silberne Zypresse“.
Der Beylerbeyi-Palast, der mit seinen Holzschnitzereien und Goldstickereien eine beeindruckende Struktur hat, ist eines der spektakulärsten Gebäude in Istanbul.
Der Jungfrauenturm, eines der romantischsten Wahrzeichen Istanbuls, wurde im Jahr 2000 restauriert und diente nun als Restaurant. Üsküdar-Küstenboote erreichten die Insel in 5 Minuten, um dem Mädchen die Ehe anzubieten, wurde zu einem der Bräuche Istanbuls. Pre-arrange a taxi or ride because it is impossible to get a taxi. The cruise itself was fun, unlimited drinks but the turkey was dry… the pasta plate or falafel looked better. Lots of dancing and great fireworks show.

The pick up at our hotel was an hour and fifteen minutes late. When we arrived at the boat all the other over 350 guests had already finished their first course. We were paying a high price for a meal and open bar. But it was extremely challenging to get a refill for our glasses of terrible quality white wine and the food was tasteless and very disappointing. The show was extremely mediocre especially the belly dancer whose main interest was to swivel her belly in front of men prepared to give her a tip. As for the fireworks - there was no show just a few fireworks at different spots around the Bosphorus. This experience was a waste of money, we would have been much better off going to a good restaurant in Istanbul for a special meal.

We attended the New Year's Eve party with Acetes travel for the years 2022 and 2021. It was a great party. We examined the program, it was the same this year. We are considering joining with our family. I want to talk a little bit about my experience last year. We made our reservation before we came to Turkey. They informed us in detail about the program. They picked us up from our hotel on New Year's Eve. When we got to the boat, appetizers were waiting for us on our table. They started with the whirling dervish show. Then we ate the turkey which is on the main menu. It was delicious. There were a lot of shows during the night. The most memorable for us was the fireworks in the Bosphorus. There was a tremendous show. It was unforgettable for me to watch the sky like that with my loved ones. When the tour ended, they dropped us back to our hotel.
