Hippodrom. Es war das Zentrum der sportlichen Aktivitäten von Konstantinopel. Berühmt mit 4 Denkmälern, dem deutschen Brunnen von Wilhelm II., dem ägyptischen Obelisk, der Serpentinensäule und der Konstantinssäule.
Blaue Moschee, auch als Sultanahmet-Moschee bekannt (wird gerade renoviert), dieses atemberaubende Gebäude ist eine der majestätischsten osmanischen Moscheen in der ganzen Türkei. Außerdem wurde es mit einzigartigen 6 Minaretten gebaut. (Freitag geschlossen)
Die Haghia Sophia ist das berühmteste Museum der Türkei und eines der größten Wunder der Architektur. Die Haghia Sophia wurde im 6. Jahrhundert von Kaiser Justinian als Kirche erbaut und 1453 vom osmanischen Kaiser Fatih Sultan Mehmet in eine Moschee umgebaut. Es wurde 1935 in ein Museum umgewandelt und 2020 in eine Moschee umgewandelt, die sowohl einheimische als auch ausländische Besucher willkommen heißt.
Der Topkapi-Palast, seit vielen Jahren Sitz der osmanischen Dynastie, diente als Bildungs-, Verwaltungs- und Kunstzentrum des Staates. Informieren Sie sich über die kaiserlichen Schatzkammern, heilige islamische Relikte, Palastküchen und Waffen. (Dienstag geschlossen)
Hagia Irene auch als „St. Eirene“ oder „St. Irene’s“ Kirche. Sie ist eine der ältesten byzantinischen Kirchen in Istanbul und war nach der Hagia Sophia die zweitgrößte Kirche des Oströmischen Reiches. (Dienstag geschlossen)

There is alot of walking on this tour the only bus ride is to pick you up in the morning and then delivery you back to the hotel at the end of the day

Viewing and going inside the Sultan Ahmed and Hagia Sophia Mosques. What amazing architecture and history associated with these iconic buildings of Istanbul.

The price offered on Viator is a little deceiving. You know going in that it does not include admission to Hagia Sophia or the Palace. Assuming that you would buy your own tickets on arrival would be wrong. In our case, the tour guide had the tickets, but you had to pay him, CASH. And it doesn’t happen until you are at the second venue requiring tickets, you do not have this information up front. One ticket was in Lira and the other Euros which made it all the more confusing. We were pretty much stripped of all our cash at that point. The first part of the tour was wet and rainy. We visited the Blue Mosque. Make sure your dress, skirt or shorts are not too short. I would recommend pants for everyone. Also, your head covering at the Mosque might not suffice for Hagia Sophia. We took a side trip to a carpet, jewelry and leather shop which was apparently either owned by the tour company or a friend of our guide. This was not on the itinerary and was a waste of time. Just before 2 pm, we met with another group to tour the palace. They had also been misled about the collection of funds for the tickets. They were also under the impression they were to visit Hagia Sophia that we had done in the morning. Our tour ended at the Grand Bazaar, but we were limited in time and now funds. Our guide also had friends there and he directed us to their shops. Lunch was good. It was a fairly large meal and they actually had my vegan selection.

Overall had a good experience, drinks are not included with lunch. The tour lady was very knowledgeable and patient.

Great tour! The tour guide Ferhat was excellent, he was so knowledgeable and able to tell us so much history. We booked at the last minute and they really worked with us going out of their way to arrange the tour for us. The food was great and it was nice to be able to go from place to place using the ticket they provided. We would definitely recommend taking this tour, especially if it is your 1st time. We plan to go back and are going to use them the next time also. If you want the best you want to use them!!!!!
