Der im opulenten europäischen Stil erbaute Dolmabahçe-Palast (Dolmabahçe Sarayi) war im späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert vor dem Untergang des Reiches die Heimat der osmanischen Sultane. Die riesigen Kristallleuchter, Marmortreppen und üppigen Teppiche, die das Innere schmücken, spiegeln den Wandel hin zu Istanbuls eher europäischer Denkweise wider.
In Istanbuls geschäftigem Hafenviertel Ortaköy pulsiert die Energie der Bars, Restaurants, Cafés und Nachtclubs. Die Hauptsehenswürdigkeit hier ist die Ortaköy-Moschee (Ortaköy Cami), ein Bauwerk aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, das barocke und neoklassische Einflüsse vereint. Dahinter erhebt sich die Bosporus-Brücke, die das alte Istanbul mit dem neuen verbindet.
Die Bosporus-Brücke (Bogazici Koprusu) in Istanbul ist eine von drei kontinentalen Brücken über den Bosporus, die Europa und Asien verbinden. Als sie 1973 eröffnet wurde, war die 1.560 Meter lange Brücke die viertlängste Hängebrücke der Welt. Und obwohl sie seitdem in der Rangliste nach unten gerutscht ist, ist sie immer noch ein beeindruckender Anblick.
Die im 15. Jahrhundert in nur vier Monaten erbaute Rumeli-Festung spielte eine Schlüsselrolle beim Fall des byzantinischen Konstantinopels. Zusammen mit der Anatolischen Festung (Anadolu Hisarı) am Bosporus wurde die Rumeli-Festung von den Osmanen genutzt, um Hilfe und Versorgung Konstantinopels abzuschneiden. Heute dient sie sowohl als Freilichttheater als auch als Ort von historischem Interesse.
Überraschenderweise existierte Istanbul für eine Stadt, die zwischen zwei Kontinenten aufgeteilt ist, die meiste Zeit seines Bestehens ohne Verbindungsbrücken. Nach dem Bau der Bosporus-Brücke in den 1970er Jahren kam 1988 die zweite Verbindungsbrücke, die Fatih-Sultan-Mehmet-Brücke. Sie ist Teil der Autobahn O-2 und verbindet die europäische und die asiatische Seite der Stadt.
Der Emirgan-Park (Emirgân Korusu) liegt an der europäischen Küste Istanbuls und ist einer der größten Parks Istanbuls. Er dient als Oase der Natur inmitten der urbanen Ausdehnung. Dank seiner Joggingstrecken und Picknickplätze ist der Park ein beliebtes Wochenendziel. Außerdem ist er der Hauptveranstaltungsort des jährlichen Istanbuler Tulpenfestivals, das jedes Jahr im April blüht.
Anadolu Hisari
Der Küçüksu-Palast (Küçüksu Kasri), auch bekannt als Küçüksu-Pavillon (Küçüksu Sarayı), wurde Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts von Sultan Abdulmecit in Auftrag gegeben und sollte ein Sommerpalast für osmanische Sultane sein. Das Design des Istanbuler Palastes verbindet europäische und osmanische Stile mit einem aufwendig geschnitzten Äußeren, geschwungenen Treppen und einem Inneren mit vergoldeten Akzenten und Kronleuchtern.
Der Beylerbeyi-Palast (Beylerbeyi Sarayi) liegt im Schatten der ersten Brücke Istanbuls und war historisch gesehen eine Sommerresidenz osmanischer Sultane. Die 24 Räume des Palastes enthalten eine Mischung aus osmanischer und westlicher Dekoration mit Möbeln aus dem 19. Jahrhundert aus Europa und Gartenpavillons. Das reich verzierte Äußere ist vom Bosporus aus sichtbar.

The cruise was our first experience in Istanbul. We had a great time! The ship was spacious, clean, and on time. The views of Istanbul from the deck were breathtaking, especially at sunset.

Price of the tour was right and the ship leaves on time, but don’t expect a stay of the art services in fact, some of the window glasses were crack. It is nicely and hop on hop off boat so ideally can visit multiple destinations on one trip. His come what day mobile phone app that provides audio guy in multiple languages so that was nice. we didn’t have time so we just took the entire boat trip in one shot. Also, who look for a short convenience boat trip in Istanbul this may work for you but again don’t expect too much how to go to.

The cruise is not crowded and we can take great shots all the way without people blocking. Ship is clean and have seats in all directions, so you can sit and take photos at ease. Highly recommended!

The experience was quite nice, though the audio guide could be expanded in terms of languages available. There's no snacks or beverages included in price, but they can be purchased on board for 100-700 TLR depending on item. We couldn't visit at sunset, but the scenery is probably even better then. Overall, it is a good activity while in Istanbul, would recommend for the price/quality ratio and to quickly catch on all main attractions without walking a lot.

Many buildings can be viewed, the overall environment is comfortable, and the boat is large, there are many places to take pictures, it is very recommended that couples or families feel a little.
