Die flachen Flusslandschaften und ländlichen Wege laden hier nicht nur zum Erkunden mit dem Fahrrad ein, sondern auch zum Genießen des bunten Lebensgefühls der Region. Reiseverlauf
Die Tour startet gegen 7 Uhr in Ihrem Hotel. Nach einer schnellen Übergabe gelangen wir zum Ausgangspunkt. Während die Fahrräder aufgestellt sind, können Sie Kaffee oder Tee in einem kleinen Dorfcafé genießen. Bald geht es los durch die ruhige Landschaft auf ruhigen, asphaltierten Landstraßen, vorbei an unzähligen Reisfeldern, Gemüsefarmen und Obstplantagen voller lokaler Früchte. Unsere Tour führt entlang von Kanalwegen und Obstgärten, über Fähren, durch charmante Dörfer und Städte voller freundlicher Gesichter. Unterwegs halten wir an einem kleinen Laden, um traditionelle gewebte Matten zu sehen und eine nahe gelegene Kakaoplantage zu besuchen. Wir reiten durch zwei sehr traditionelle lokale Märkte mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus der Region, sowie den jüngsten Fischfang aus lokalen Flüssen und Bächen.
Je weiter wir nach Süden fahren, desto mehr weichen ländliche Straßen betonierten Kanalpfaden und die Vegetation wird dichter und viele der Bäche ähneln eher den großen Nebenflüssen des Mekong. Wir besuchen den größten Frischwarengroßmarkt der Region. Nach dem Mittagessen im Restaurant bringt Sie der Van zurück zu Ihrem Hotel in Sai Gon.

I had a wonderful experience on the Cao Cao Adventure – Mekong tour today. Everything was well-organized from start to finish, making the whole journey smooth and enjoyable. A special thanks to our tour guide, JP, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. JP shared fascinating insights about the Mekong Delta, local culture, and daily life, which really made the trip more meaningful and engaging. Our driver, Giau, also did an excellent job—safe, professional, and always punctual. The transportation was comfortable, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the scenery along the way. The itinerary was well-balanced, giving us a chance to explore beautiful landscapes, try local specialties, and experience authentic Mekong life. It was truly a memorable day. Well organized from the moment they picked us up from our hotel. Huong was a fantastic guide taking us on a beautiful 25 km bike ride through the countryside, while stopping at several homes to meet local people. Highly recommend a trip with Cao Cao Adventures.

We had a wonderful time cycling with a family of 4 (parents + 12 years old children) through the Mekong delta during a full week. Thang helped us to design and book a custom itinerary, gave us perfect routes that we followed self guided using ridewithgps. We had the van support, luggage transfer and Trek bikes rental, all great, with a very professional and careful driver Khang. We continued our bike trip after in central coast also with their support and their partners. Be aware that English speaking can be a challenge when self guided but nothing that Google translate can't solve. Definitely the recommended tour company to bike travel in Vietnam!
