Da ich mein ganzes Leben lang Inselbewohner bin und meine Familie hier tief verwurzelt ist, werden Sie bei einem Spaziergang durch die historischen Straßen nicht nur etwas über die Geschichte und Geographie von Charlottetown und der Insel erfahren, sondern auch viele persönliche Anekdoten hören. Einige davon werden sich mit der Geschichte der Kelly Family befassen, andere werden persönlicher sein. Ob Sie von hier oder von weg sind, ich denke, Sie werden mit einer tieferen Wertschätzung für den Ort, den ich mein Zuhause nenne, gehen.

Besuchen Sie die inspirierende „Allerseelenkapelle“, die an die Kirche angebaut ist. Dies ist eine nationale historische Sehenswürdigkeit. Hören Sie, wie die Harris-Brüder maßgeblich an der Gestaltung und Innenausstattung dieser Kapelle beteiligt waren
Am Eingang des Parks besuchen wir das Haus des Gouverneurs, das Zuhause des Generalleutnants von PEI. Wir werden am Wasser anhalten, um die Geschichte des Hafens von Charlottetown zu hören
Wir werden die Tour dort beenden, wo wir begonnen haben. Auf unserem Weg zwischen dem Victoria Park und unserem endgültigen Ziel machen wir eine kurze Pause am Pownal Square und ich werde Ihnen von meinen 15 Minuten Ruhm erzählen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Charlottetown. Our guide Jamie was outstanding. He is a life long resident and enjoys sharing his hometown with visitors. Jamie made the tour both fun and informative. Being the only ones on the tour he tailored it to us and we were able to ask many questions.
Jamie was a great guide who has lived on the island his whole life. Gives many interesting historical and current facts in an entertaining way. Helped make our PEI visit enjoyable!

Jamie is an excellent tour escort with a great depth of knowledge. As a well-spoken, educated local going back several generations, he shared his depth of information, insight and understanding. The tour of the central historic district was well paced and easy to manage. Having asked what our lans were for the balance of our 6 day stay, he put his information into context with references to what we would see the following day when we went on a drive tour outside of Charlottetown. This made the two tours/days super-interesting. I completely recommend this tour and Jamie to others for an outstanding insight into historic Charlottetown.

Very interesting walking tour of the city of Charlottetown, discovering its various historical monuments. The tour lasts about 2 hours. The guide passionately shares historical facts and anecdotes about the city. Nevertheless, it is a shame not to have the time to visit the churches or historical houses when they are accessible to the public. An excellent way to discover Charlottetown. I recommend it without hesitation!
