Unser Kapitän wird Ihnen eine kurze Geschichte des Hafens von Charlottetown geben – der „Wiege der Konföderation“, als Kanada zum ersten Mal ein Land wurde, die Mi'kmaq, die die Provinz zuerst besiedelten, sowie etwas über den Hafen von Charlottetown selbst.
Die Isola Solaretto fährt lautlos am wunderschönen Victoria Park vorbei, wo Sie die Kanonen und Waffen dieser historischen Festung sehen können.
Sie sehen die Einfahrt zum Hafen von Charlottetown und das berühmte Port-la-Joye (Fort Amherst) am Rocky Point.
Hier sehen Sie die „Geburtsstätte Kanadas“, wo die Kolonien Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia und New Brunswick 1864 zum ersten Mal zusammenkamen, um zu beschließen, dass Kanada ein Land werden sollte.

Excellent tour and great entertainment!
It was a really nice option especially when getting on the water because you know that you’re not killing the environment. The jokes are corny, but that’s why they’re funny. Just wish they would’ve played more music instead of talking. Other than that, enjoy the cruise enjoy the drinks and just relax.
Thank you Cynthia! So glad you enjoyed the cruise. We do try to play about 15 min of music during the boarding process and then play another 30 min on the water, so that's more than a third of the total cruise time. We do need a bit of time for the sight-seeing & tour commentary, trivia, take some time to steer the boat, eat the meals, have some social time, etc. We try to make it well-rounded for everybody, but for sure the music is the highlight! :)

We were a group of 5 adults. The atmosphere on the small boat was upbeat, collegial and friendly. The crew were polite, helpful, entertaining and engaging. All travellers were positive and genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves. The information provided by the tour crew was expansive and helpful in understanding the harbour and history of Prince Edward Island's capital city of Charlottetown. An easy going, light hearted (typical PEI) and professional experience. A pleasant way to spend a couple of hours before exploring the the city that is the 'Birthplace of Canada". (Look it up, then you'll understand)

We went on the Solar boat as a staff party and we had a blast! The food was delicious, drinks were flowing, and the music was excellent, we all had so much fun. I will definitely be back, great for tourists or locals alike!
Excellent experience. Steve was a great host/guide. Chad was an awesome captain/singer. Really enjoyed the trip and learned a lot. Food was excellent. Highly recommend!!!
