Wandern Tagesausflug in Bodo, dem versteckten Tal

We ( A 19 year old and 60 year old) did the Hidden Valley hike with Ivar. Ivar communicated really well and offered a variety of pick up and drop off points. Luckily for us we were the only booking on that day so we had a private tour with Ivar who is very knowledgeable about the local area, history, wildlife and happy to answer any questions. The hike itself was the right level for us both, Ivar was very good at pointing out tricky parts and ensuring our safety at all times. The scenery is spectacular whatever the weather and a very peaceful, secluded spot. We stopped by the top lake for a break and did a different route back to the van. Ivar also stopped at Saltstraumen for us to walk over the bridge- an additional bonus! Dont miss this incredible tour, we highly recommend if your in the area. Ivar also gave us very good advice on other activities for our last day jn the area which we took and had a great time. Many thanks Ivar.

It was a really nice hiking trip in good atmosphere. The guide provided a lot of information and was really nice! The area is beautiful with a great view over the mountains. We were even able to see some snow (in summer). All in all a great recommendation when you're in Bodø.

Everything was very well organized, and it was a big relief not having to worry about planning the route or transport. Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and shared a lot of interesting facts about the area, which made the experience even more special.If you're in the area and want to explore some stunning Norwegian nature in a relaxed and safe way, I can absolutely recommend this hike!

A must do if you have a pit stop in Bodo. The initial journey to the hidden valley starts off the bar high with expansive mountain views and if the timing is right awesome angles of the Saltstraumen. The actual hike into the hidden valley isn't too difficult but highly recommend good enclosed boot like hiking shoes, some terrain can be boggy. The final vantage point of the hike is breathtaking, but to be honest the whole trek is jaw dropping. If you make good time, Ivar seems to have quite the luck with finding reindeer and moose for an amazing close up and memorable end to the tour.

I had a wonderful experience hiking in Hidding Valley. The guide was incredibly kind, approachable, and easy to talk to, which made the whole trip feel relaxed and enjoyable. This hike is perfect for beginners – not too demanding, yet still rewarding. The views were absolutely magical, with breathtaking scenery all around. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bodø and looking for a peaceful, scenic outdoor adventure. The pictures were taken but Ivar, guide and photographer, he shared with me, which was very kind and I really love them!
