Huge bus full of rude, loud people. Almost 80 people and only 1 tour guide. Elisabetta did a great job considering the amount of people. The same information in 3 languages! There was traffic and there was a delayed. The tour itinerary changed so the time for each stop changed. We spent hours sitting in a bus and 1 hour at the beach. There was not enough time to enjoy the Palm Tree beach or walk to the waterfalls. We had to rush through every single stop and basically swallow our lunch. Not a good experience at all.
It is a long but also very beautiful excursion. One should see this beach at least once when in Crete.
This was my favourite of the trips I did I cannot put into words the stunning scenery this island has to offer. And this trip seems to take in far more than seems fair. From mountains, to travelling through soaring forgers to the most fantastic beaches, not to mention to palm forests themselves. Swimming in the crystal clear Libyan sea was just perfect I loved the boat thrip from one small bay to another, it felt as if I had left all my cares behind. Lastly a great lunch in the most picture postcard taverna ever. Back on the coach and down the coast to Rethymno for a visit to my favourite ice cream shop - just perfect
Was nice but it has too many attractions and felt everything in a hurry. We wanted to go in preveli and was the only trip available that day. The schedule initially received was changed and communicated to us only in the bus. Didn't like the fact that some tourists occupied 2 seats in the bus so that no one would stay on the seat next to them. It should be organized better the sitting in the bus.
The trip was mega nice. Definitely worth it if you want to see some great places of the island. Make sure to take bathing suits and good bathing shoes, then you can also walk through the river in the palm forest! Unfortunately, you have very limited time in each place - if you want relaxation you have to find another destination. Tour guide was super nice, thank you!
Everything was extremely well organized. Elisabeth the tour guide was super friendly, caring and perfectly trained in different languages.
I, a female, 60-year-old businesswoman, was thrown off the bus. After two Italian women on the bus had insulted me extremely. I approached the guides and asked for clarification and help. Unfortunately, the lady did not listen to me, nor did she ask any other Germans who heard the insults. She portrayed me as an evil German. It's incredible! After researching this organizer we find several reviews from people who also had to have negative experiences with this organizer. 😢
Ms Birgit, I see you are trying hard to disparage our company, instead of enjoiying your holidays. It was not pleasent for me to decide and ask you through my excursion staff to exit the bus and bring you back to your hotel. But the fact that you sat on a four seat table and didn't let the other ladies to sit, was not a nice thing to do. Maybe when you entered the bus it was empty as you where the first client to pick up, but then the bus was getting almost full. In your ither review in Google, you mention that we should ask you to change seats and you would do it and you would apologize. But in the bus you were not so cooperative. You were screaming and shouting without stopping and without obvious reason. That made the situation very difficult for the rest of the travelers and I should make a decision. And the decision was to protect the remaining 75 travelers and let them enjoy their tour. You wouldn't also enjoy your trip if you were staying in the bus, in that situation you were. We didn't throw you out of the bus. The staff asked you politely to exit the bus and then our mini van dropped you back to your hotel and you had a full refund. As a professional in tourism, I know I did the right thing, to protect the group and provide them a peaceful excursion, but it was really not pleasing for me. I don't know what made you so angry so i just consider, that it was just a bad morning for you and i never said you are a bad person or something like that. And dont try to make it look like we dont like German tourists, trying to find supporters. We value all our clients, thats why we are here 35years. We all have bad or strange days. I hope you understand my point of view and I really hope you enjoy the rest of your holidays, in our island. Thank you and I am really sorry to disappoint you. Warmest regards, Yiannis Spanakis
Picked up this tour at 7.50am from a hotel outside Heraklion it then took over 3 hours to reach Damnoni beach with a stop along the way for a comfort break. The coach was a double decker packed with various nationalities and although there was a toilet on board we were not permitted to use it. The tour guide repeated the same information in several languages which made it really tedious listening and I'd recommend booking a tour specifically for your chosen language. We arrived at Damnoni beach and the boat was waiting for us, this had toilets on board, and it was a 30 minute jaunt along the coast toe Preveli beach. Being a tourist attraction it was extremely busy and we opted for a walk through the palm trees and a very quick dip in the sea before we had to catch the boat back. I actually preferred Damnoni beach which had restaurants and was far less crowded. The final visit was to Rethymnon town which I thought was lovely. Plenty of places to eat, shop and sightsee. The whole day was about 11 hours but we only spent about 4 at the various places so not really the most enjoyable of days for us. Definitely take snacks and plenty of drinks.
Great value and wonderful tour to see 2 beaches with unbelievably clear blue water. The view from the boat was amazing. The tour guide was well -organized considering the large group size. Highly recommend. The town of Rethymno was pretty- would have liked more time there.
Absolutely fantastic day out. Prevelia beach is just like being in the Caribbean. Great for snorkeling too. Would definitely visit again.
