Best wine and bike tour in Heraklion! Highly recommend to anyone visiting or just looking for something fun to do. The owners are so nice and the wine is very tasty.

Alex and his wife, Marina, hosted an absolutely FANTASTIC eco bike tour in Heraklion! We had ample time to get used to the bikes, before heading along the beachfront into downtown Heraklion. Marina led the bike tour and we stopped at most of the "must sees" in the downtown area, including a stop in a park where we were challenged to find the faces carved into the tree trunks. After touring around, we met Alex at a little restaurant and spent maybe 90 minutes on the wine tasting, with some food to go along with it. Alex and Marina are fun and love what they do. They're hospitable and will make sure you have a great experience!
Best food and wine tasting guide in all of Greece. Alex made me feel like family, and has vast knowledge of Greek history, mythology, and pretty girls. And his wine is excellent too! I wish I had a longer stay, but I will be back!
We visit heraklion with Alex and it was the best day of our vacations! The wines 🍷 and the bikes was a great combination! Excellent! 5 stars!!!
This is a great choice to visit Heraklio and taste the Cretan wines. Alex was great and the bikes easy to use.

Alex and Marena were knowledgeable and very personable. The eco bikes were a great way to get into neighborhoods where tourists usually don’t travel. Wines were excellent! Wish we could do it again!
We had so fun on this tour. We booked it because wineries were closed on Sundays, but happy they were as we found this tour! Marena was a wonderful local guide and answered so many questions not only about wine, but also Greek culture. It was a most memorable and fun evening - highly recommend!
We finally found his associate 3 kilometers from city center who offered us mini electric bikes that were old and so small that we could not safely ride them and I have an electric bike at home. She then said to sit on the curb while she took the bikes to her home. She returned 15 minutes later and told us she would take us back to the city center for a walking tour Her car was filthyand not what we paid $220 for. We were both angry and disappointed. We told her we would take a taxi back to the cruise ship and we wanted a refund. She ruined our one day stay in Crete. I then had a very unpleasant email exchange with her boss Alex who again refused a refund and insulted me repeatedly. It is clear that his business has no storefront as our meeting place was in front of another business in a very rough part of town next to abandoned buildings. To get to this location we had to walk 45 minutes even though the tour was back at city center. Most likely because this operator works from his home and has no base. This is the worst excuse for a tour that I have ever encountered. We also we were never offered helmets which the operator said were in the car. I helped his associate load the bikes in the trunk and back seat and never saw helmets. Beware do not take this tour
