Kulinarischer Spaziergang durch Halifax

This tour was an excellent way to learn about Halifax and taste some delicious food, while getting lots of steps in. Emery was an excellent guide. We really enjoyed him and the experiences on this tour.

This tour took us to some amazing restaurants to sample the local cuisine of Halifax. Emory shared a wide variety of information pertaining to the food, history, and culture of Halifax. Great value!

We enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Halifax. The food was delicious and our guide was knowledgeable and courteous. He had many restaurant recommendations, too. Unfortunately, we weren't in town long enough to try them. Next time!

Absolutely amazing!! Emmy was a wonderful, kind and informative guide. Value for money was amazing too, seemed a little expensive when booking, but once we saw the portion sizes and quality of food we were very happy to pay that price. Emi was wonderful. Food tour was solid with very different restaurant experiences and high quality offerings. However, it was the wealth of local historical and current information provided. This information was casually disseminated by Emi as we walked and conversed at the restaurants. That is where the true value of the experience was revealed

Emie was a joy to be around. She was very knowledgeable of the area and provided a rich food experience for my wife and I. We had never done anything like this before, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Halifax.

It’s an opportunity to sample a number of different local food favorites while traversing the key areas of the harbor area and Boardwalk. The guide is well acquainted with the area, the origin of the various foods and history, and very extensive history of Halifax. He also shared many interesting stories about other tourists and things that they said, and how they reacted to some of the foods and places we toured. It was a leisurely pace and an excellent opportunity to view the city around the 1 mile block.

The food on this tour is excellent and the portions are very generous. We wished that our guide had more information to share about Halifax history (food-related and otherwise). He did provide some tidbits but he also talked a lot about himself and his home country, which was interesting but not the point of the tour.

Great food tour with Emre. He was very personable and knowledgeable. The food was amazing on each stop. Lobster roll, seafood chowder, Donair, raw oysters and finished up with ice cream My recommendation would be to start with oysters, then chowder, lobster roll, donair, ice cream. It builds from light to heavy.
