Diese peruanische Mountainbike-Tour bietet Mountainbiking und Radtouren durch die Anden in der Nähe von Cusco, vorbei an der Stadt Maras und den Inka-Terrassen von Moray. Dieser zweite Standort wurde zum Experimentieren mit verschiedenen Arten von Feldfrüchten bei verschiedenen Temperaturbedingungen verwendet; als solcher, Moray war bekannt als das landwirtschaftliche Labor der Inka. Dieses Maras & Moray Radtour ist für alle Arten von Reitern geeignet, da es auf seiner etwa 35km langen Strecke ziemlich einfache Abschnitte hat. Mit Ihrem professionellen Reiseleiter kommen Sie an kleinen Dörfern vorbei, sehen die umwerfende Aussicht auf die Hochebene und die umliegenden Berge und staunen über die vorbeiziehenden Kolibris und Schmetterlinge. Die Route führt auch in den Salineras oder Salztrocknungsbecken. Hier verdunsten rund 5.000 Salzteiche langsam und bieten ihre schmackhaften Mineralien an. Das Mittagessen ist inbegriffen, ebenso wie ein Fahrrad und alle Sicherheitsausrüstung.

Franchessco our tour guide was amazing, his knowledge and expertise were incredible and he made the trip for us. The activities that we completed were very fun and the hikes were a really good experience.
This bike tour was great. I got to see a different side to cusco and off-beat local gems. I am a competent biker- road/city/etc. so it was so much fun to bike through cusco not in the city center. I felt super safe and had a great guide. Chévere!
Had an absolutely amazing time with Luis - the views were absolutely stunning and he was so informative about the history and where all the viewpoints were. Our guide Armando and the driver were super helpful! We had an amazing time. Though it was my first mountain biking experience, I feel safe and supported by the guide all the time. He gave me little tips about cycling through these bumpy hills. The guide Armando is very knowledgeable and he feels proud of sharing us things related to the Inka culture. We experienced the locals’ way of showing respect to the mountains, learned about the inka symbols. It was such a beautiful experience, I really appreciate it!

Louis was super responsive and very helpful in organising a biking tour last minute. This company is one of the only ones that will let you book for just 2 people, includes lunch and is very reasonably priced. It meant we actually had a private guide which was so helpful. Italo, our guide, had great knowledge about the area and the trails. He was clearly super passionate about biking and sorted a flat tire super quickly. Lunch was great.

After doing a lot of sightseeing by bus I was up for some excersise. I decided to join the biking tour with Inkas Destination and I don't regret this choice. We were in a group of 10 people incuding two guides, one guide drives up front and one guide follows the last biker. It was 60% downhill and 40% going up. If you want you can go quiet fast downhill. Uphill isn't very steep, the only thing making it a bit tough is the altitude which makes it harder to breath. The equipment as well as the body protection was really good. The bike has springs on the back and front which makes it really comfortable to bike on bumpy roads. The scenery you are biking in is amazing, you get out of the city and drive through endless fields where the locals are working. During the bike trip you visit Moray and Salineras de Maras, simply beautiful places you have to visit while you are in Cusco. It's also nice that you can rest a bit from the bike ride during these visits. Make sure you bring some head protection for the sun and sun cream. You are basically the whole day exposed to the sun! Don't hesitate to bring a backpack and your camera, during the bike trip you can store you stuff in the van.
