Wir sind ein Familienunternehmen, das ein High-End-Segelerlebnis auf traditionellen Dhow-Segelbooten bietet. Wir sind stolz in Tansania hergestellt mit Fokus auf Nachhaltigkeit. Unsere Reise beginnt am Morgen vom Kendwa Strand, segelt hinaus und direkt über das Meer vor uns in Richtung der Nachbarinsel Tumbatu. Aufgrund der Nähe haben wir einen kurzen Transfer hinüber und erreichen Tumbatu nach ca. 45 min. Wir werden an einem ruhigen Ort ankern, damit Sie Ihren ersten Sprung ins Wasser machen können, um etwas Schwimmen und Schnorcheln zu genießen. Während dieser Zeit bereitet unser Team eine Vielzahl von Snacks und Obst zu, die Sie anschließend genießen können. Sie können sich an Deck entspannen, die Aussicht zusammen mit ein paar kühlen Getränken genießen. Anschließend geht es weiter zu einem zweiten Schnorchel in der Nähe, der wieder die Möglichkeit zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln bietet. Tumbatu ist bekannt dafür, weniger von Touristen besucht zu werden und eine ruhige Umgebung mit einem wunderschönen Riff. Wir starten unsere Segel zurück nach Kendwa shortlz vor dem Mittagessen.

Sie können am Riff vor Tumbatu Island schwimmen und schnorcheln. Wir haben mehrere schöne Plätze, wo wir das Boot ankern können und Sie die Unterwasserwelt erkunden können. Da Tumbatu weniger frequentiert wird als andere Orte rund um Sansibar, werden Sie hier einen wirklich ruhigen Ort mit kaum anderen touristischen Booten finden. Wir werden auch eine Pause haben, um auf dem Boot zu entspannen und um ein paar Drinks, Snacks und die schöne Natur um Sie herum zu genießen.

This turned out to be a wonderful half day. The boat was super comfortable plenty of places to sit in the shade or out of the shade you want they had nice cushions on the seat so you weren’t stuck on a hard bench. The staff was amazing, super friendly very attentive. We got lots of snacks and drinks. What was really nice about this boat is that you could sail back in which is extraordinarily relaxing. This specific tour snorkeling, location is definitely less crowded than the other island - which was definitely worth it! The owner was friendly and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend booking this trip versus trying to go cheaper on one of the smaller boats.

My husband and I had an amazing trip for our honey moon. The boat was authentic and a true treat to experience. We had beautiful fruits and drinks on the boat. A perfect experience!

My husband and I recently did a half day tour with Zanzibar Dhow to Tumbatu Island for some snorkeling and it was awesome! The captain and guides were great - warm, friendly, and knowledgeable! They found some great snorkeling spots, had snacks and fresh fruit for us, and were super fun to hangout with! The whole boat was a vibe!! Highly recommend!

We have had the most beautiful cruise with a super good service. A trip at our pace with really good time to snorkel. Can only recommend this trip ☀️
Out taxi driver Dulla was on time and spoke good English. All good getting to the boat which was waiting for us. Excellent crew who were kind and helpful. I am retired so need help getting on and off the dhow. My son linked his music to their machine and we left on a sunny day. At the island unfortunately no fish. As we moved on the Captain Dopey put up the sail for us. The sky darkened and we had monsoon rain. The crew covered the passenger seating area. The Captain let my son steer for a while and we arrived at the sand bank where we completed our trip and saw some fish and many spiny sea urchins. Back to the beach where our driver was waiting. My only comment would be the beach itself which is heavily polluted with rubbish. Not the company’s fault. But I was happy not to be staying there.
Top top! Tumbatu was our best trip with our Family, the reef, less cloud of boats, it’s Like a private tour. We real enjoyed as well as the Team the boat was super organized, thanks for the Company and all the Team for a wonderful experiance.they know what there doing❤️highly recommending 100% we will be back soon

Boat was really fun and relaxing. The food was great (fruit and savory snacks, beer, water and soda), snorkeling fun and crew nice. The boat was motor powered not a sail in case that is a consideration. They also helped us organize transportation from the east coast of the island and were waiting for us when we arrived. Enjoyed our half day adventure a lot! And we were lucky to have the boat to ourselves (couple).

Regarding the point you mentioned that the boat was engine powered and not a sail - our boats all have sail and engine. Unfortunately on the day of your trip we had almost no wind so the technical sailing had to ve replaced with the engine to make the trip still happen as planned for that day. We had a Great day! The driver was right on time (actually to early :) The crew on the boat was so friendly and we felt really welcome. They did everything for our comfort. The boat was comfortable, spacious and clean. Crew gave us lots of information and explanation. We were Provided with flippers and snorkling gear. I made a joke about drinking coffee and de crew actually made us good coffee. Then the music played and we were all happy. Beer and wine were served and very good snacks and fruits. We stayed far away from the mass tourism.
