Our tour guide Charles provided a fact and story filled afternoon filled with intimate detail of the Allied troops landing and movements inland to turn the tide of the war. He also shed light on the lives of the Normandy locals that had to survive in German occupied France while praying that Allies could turn the tide of the war. Charles was friendly, packed with knowledge and was obviously has a passion for the WWII Era and history. Great tour and we have already made recommendations to friends that have upcoming trips planned.

We really enjoyed seeing the American cemetery and visiting specific graves. Our guide made the stories come to life.
