Bei dieser halbtägigen Minneriya-Nationalpark-Safari haben Sie die Gelegenheit, eine große Anzahl von Elefanten aus Sri Lanka zu beobachten, die sich während der Trockenzeit von Grasfeldern an den Rändern des Stausees angezogen fühlen. Der Minneriya-Panzer trägt zum Unterhalt einer großen Herde bei. Die Anzahl der hier versammelten Elefanten liegt zwischen 150 und 200. In einigen Berichten wird die Zahl der Elefanten auf 700 geschätzt. Sie ziehen hierher aus dem Wasgamuwa-Nationalpark und profitieren von Nahrung und Schutz des Waldes im Park. Touristen besuchen Minneriya hauptsächlich wegen der Elefanten, besonders in der Trockenzeit.

Sie werden von unserem Jeep-Fahrer in Sigiriya abgeholt und zu einer abenteuerlichen halbtägigen Safari im Minneriya-Nationalpark gebracht. Bei Ihrer Ankunft im Park können Sie mit unserem Team eine unvergessliche 3-stündige Jeep-Safari genießen. Der Minneriya-Nationalpark gilt an einem Ort der Welt als die größte bekannte Versammlung wilder asiatischer Elefanten. Zu den Tierarten des Nationalparks zählen 24 Säugetierarten, 160 Vogelarten, 9 Amphibienarten, 25 Reptilienarten, 26 Fischarten und 75 Schmetterlingsarten. Bei dieser halbtägigen Minneriya-Nationalpark-Safari können Sie vor allem 100 wilde Elefanten gleichzeitig beobachten. Nach der Safari werden Sie zu Ihrem Hotel in Dambulla zurückgebracht.

I visited Sri Lanka for two weeks and absolutely loved it! The people were super friendly and the food was delicious. If you're into wildlife safaris, I highly recommend Minneriya it’s the perfect spot, especially for elephant lovers ❤️
Our hostel ”New Dambulla city hostel” arranged a safari jeep to pick us up at the hostel and drove us straight to the safari. The safari was great and we saw alot of amazing elephants which was a really nice experience!

Hello, early in the morning we start the safari. We were picked up in front of our hostel. (The Dambulla City Hostel, a beautiful place where we had a good time). After that, the guide showed us beautiful places in the minneriya park. We also saw lots of elephants! That was really amazing to come them that close. :) The guide was very friendly & we also got a lunchbox at the beginning of the tour.
