Halbtägige Stadtrundfahrt durch Mombasa

Eric is an amazing tour guide in Mombasa. I learned a lot about the history of Mombasa as a costal city, as well as Nairobi's history. Eric was kind enough to be flexible with the start time since it was just me and my sister. He was also patient and let us shop a bit in the new town part, and the spice market. The tour was well done, and the walk didn't seem strenuous. We were able to see a lot of historic sites such as Fort Jesus, the oldest mosque in Kenya, the iconic Mombasa tusk gate, and so much more. I was able to take a lot of amazing photos during the tour, which I'll include in my post. I've done many walking tours, in many countries and Eric's walking tour is amongst the best. He deserves to be booked out everyday. Highly recommend!

He is very knowledgeable about Kenya's history, and has his informed take on current issues of Africa and the World. My family thoroughly enjoyed the conversations we had and the sights we went to. It was the kind of tour I would recommend - insightful and enjoyable, not your typical touristy walk. I most appreciated that he arranged tuktuks for us because we had an elderly and couldn't walk long distances. He also made great recommendations for lunch and dinner.

We were picked from our Hotel and driven to Mombasa city where a number of other coaches joined us and we were splitted in smaller groups, each with a guide. Our Guide Mr.Erick Lumbasho was extremely knowledgeable about everywhere we visited. Explaining everything into key details and time conscious. Special word for our driver Who managed to circumnavigate some large traffic jams to enable us get back to hotel at reasonable time.

I went on the Fort Jesus and Old town tour with Erick and he shared fascinating details about the early visitors to the coast, how coastal towns developed and the cultural blend that resulted from interactions between coastal people and visitors.
