Saw 2 silky sharks very briefly. Not again.

The crew did an amazing job. Very informative. I felt very safe when entering the water. We unfortunately didn't see any sharks while we were in the water but saw a few from the boat. This was not for a lack of trying from the crew! It was a wonderful experience.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Felipe and his crew, truly 5-star service from start to finish. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made sure everything was seamless, including getting our gear perfectly fitted and making everyone feel comfortable. The boat ride out was quick and scenic, with a stop by the Arch for some great photo opportunities. Once we arrived at the snorkel spot, the crew walked us through safety and got everything set up with professionalism and care. The wildlife sightings were beyond anything we expected- we were lucky enough to see a baby mako shark right away, followed by two more makos and even a sea lion! On the way back, they went above and beyond by using extra time to search for more marine life, and it paid off—we saw a mobula ray, humpback whale, and dolphins! Felipe and his team were not only friendly and attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable, making the experience both fun and educational. They also provided drinks and snacks, which was appreciated. Tip - while the weather was warm, we forgot the boat ride can be cold in the wind. Another guest had a Terry cloth looking snuggy which so smart, quick drying while providing warmth. Bring something similar for the boat ride. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Cabo, an unforgettable experience with an outstanding crew!

Communication with Felipe was fantastic from the very beginning. We wanted to snorkel with sharks on the tour. We had to wait quite a while for the sharks because orcas were nearby. But instead of turning back or giving up early, Felipe and Richard remained patient, optimistic, and confident that the sharks would eventually appear. You could tell they were doing everything they could to make this experience possible – and this patience ultimately paid off. We actually got to swim with three sharks – an indescribable moment! Felipe and Richard are absolute professionals when it comes to handling sharks. Their calm demeanor, expertise, and respectful treatment of the animals made us feel safe at all times. This is incredibly important, especially during such intense encounters in the open ocean. On the way back, we were even able to watch orcas hunting – a truly spectacular natural phenomenon. What was particularly impressive was that they took so much time for us to observe the animals extensively. We were out on the water for a very long time, without any time pressure – it was truly about savoring the moment. This adventure was extraordinary, intense, and absolutely unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend Orca Divebacher – professional, respectful, and with genuine passion for the ocean. Many thanks to Felipe and Richard – we will definitely be back!

I booked this for my birthday and it was the best experience I could have asked for! The guides were amazing, the sharks were absolutely a core memory i will hold dear forever and I cant wait to do it again.

This was an incredible adventure. Felipe and captain Eric did an amazing job finding wildlife and getting us in the water at the right time.We’ve been to Cabo four or five times and this is by far the best Cabo experience with wildlife that we’ve ever had. Don’t miss this opportunity if you’re in Cabo. We saw rays, sea lions, Marlin, dolphins, humpback, whales, thousands of fish, birds, and did I mention whales. We pursue whale watching and whale excursions on all of our vacations; this was by far the most incredible experience!!! We even had a fresh ceviche snack. Don’t miss this one if you are in Cabo, it was amazing. Definitely go!

The entire experience was exceptionally smooth, from start to finish. We were fortunate to witness marlin jumping, whales, and even had the opportunity to swim with three blue sharks. A generous selection of snacks and beverages was provided on board. All necessary equipment was readily available, should anything have been forgotten. The tour guides demonstrated remarkable knowledge and a clear dedication to the conservation of these animals and the ocean. I felt completely safe while in the water. It was truly an amazing trip.

Orca Dive Expeditions runs a very professional operation, and what stood out most was the quality of the guides. Safety was clearly a priority, with solid briefings, clear communication, and calm, confident guidance in the water. The team knows shark behavior extremely well, which made the entire experience feel controlled and comfortable. That expertise paid off in an incredible way - we ended up swimming with one mako shark and two blue sharks (!) and it never felt rushed or risky. The guides managed the situation carefully while still giving us meaningful time in the water and truly memorable encounters. If you’re looking for an operation that takes safety seriously while still delivering outstanding results, this team does an excellent job balancing both.

Was a bit hesitant to book this trip after one not great review I read. However, I am SO glad we decided to go. This was the most amazing experience and coolest thing I have ever done! The crew was so nice and I felt very safe in the water. Would 100% recommend doing this tour if you’re in Cabo.

My partner and I have very little snorkel experience, but both love sharks so we had to try this. Felipe and the rest of the crew are very well organized, professional, and informative. Before leaving the dock, we were each issued a wetsuit, fins, and life-jackets. We were also given space at the front of the boat to keep our belongings dry. The trek out to the dive spot was about 25 minutes or so, not too bad. Once we arrived they went over some key safety instructions for interacting with the sharks, various types we may encounter, safety hand signs etc — very useful. As they were going over safety, another crew member was getting the bait off the boat and setting up the various safety ropes, bait boxes and other equipment. Luckily a for us, a Mako shark showed up within 5 minutes and we were quickly into the water to check it out. The Mako hung around for another 45 minutes to an hour - plenty of time to capture lots of video, photo, and memories. As I mentioned I am not an experienced diver, so I had some issues with my snorkel. The crew was very helpful in getting me back to the boat a couple times to adjust my gear. Not long after the Mako shark left, a Blue Shark arrived and then a second one. These sharks are incredible, very curious and fast. One of the Blue sharks didn’t stick around too long but the other one was there for well over an hour until we finally had to head back to the marina. During the dive (and on the way back) plenty of snacks and drinks were available. Overall this was such an amazing experience, and something my partner and I will never forget. Oh and also something worth mentioning: the crew films and shoots photos during the dive, so you will end up with a google drive link full of great photos and video to relive the day. (Make sure you credit them if you use the clips though!) Thanks again Felipe and crew!
