Ihr Abenteuer beginnt im Gullfoss Café, neben dem legendären Gullfoss Wasserfall – einem der atemberaubendsten natürlichen Wahrzeichen Islands. Dieser mächtige zweistufige Wasserfall taucht 32 Meter in eine schroffe Schlucht und dient als perfekte Kulisse, um Ihre Gletscherreise zu beginnen. Treffen Sie Ihre Guides am Schild der Bergsteiger Islands auf dem Parkplatz, wo Sie einen speziell modifizierten Super Truck für die Fahrt ins Hochland besteigen.
Von Gullfoss aus führt Sie Ihre Super Truck-Reise tief ins raue Landesinnere Islands, in Richtung Geldingafell-Gebirge. Die Fahrt dauert je nach Straßen- und Wetterbedingungen 35–60 Minuten und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf Vulkanlandschaften und schneebedeckte Ebenen. Dieser Offroad-Trek ist Teil des Abenteuers, eine spannende Vorschau auf das bevorstehende Gletschererlebnis.
Im Langjökull Glacier Base Camp rüsten Sie sich mit warmen Schneeanzügen, Helmen, Handschuhen und Stiefeln aus, bevor Sie eine vollständige Sicherheitseinweisung und Schneemobil-Anleitung erhalten. Sobald Sie bereit sind, steigen Sie in Ihr Schneemobil und beginnen Sie eine aufregende einstündige Fahrt über Islands zweitgrößten Gletscher. - Zum Führen des Schneemobils ist ein gültiger Führerschein erforderlich.
- Schneemobile werden von zwei Personen geteilt. Ein Einzelfahrer pro Schneemobil ist gegen Aufpreis möglich.
- Das Mindestalter für die Teilnahme an der Tour beträgt 6 Jahre, und alle Kinder müssen von einem Erwachsenen begleitet werden.
- Pro Erwachsenem ist bei dieser Tour nur ein Kind erlaubt.
- Kleiden Sie sich dem Wetter entsprechend. In Island ist es immer ratsam, warme, wasserdichte Kleidung zu tragen, da sich das Wetter schnell ändern kann.

Good fun up on glacier. Cave part not open (usual apparently??) so do not book and pay for that part. Non involving guides, but still a great experience.
Amazing experience from start to finish! Everything was very well organized. The snowmobile activity was amazing! A big thank you to Thor, who was very friendly and explained everything clearly throughout the excursion. The view of the glacier as well as the ice cave were absolutely stunning and fascinating. The scenery is definitely worth seeing! I highly recommend this activity!

great experience! If you’ve never snowmobiled before, it’s a bit intense for a rookie. I quickly learned I wasn’t cut out to drive solo so ditched my snowmobile and rode on the back of our guides and still got to enjoy the views. Raymond was awesome!!!

There was no ice cave. We were charged extra for an experience we didn't get. We should have been charged for the regular snowmobiling tour. The other guests said the same thing.

Our guide was fantastic! The walk to the caves took about 15 minutes. The cave in the pictures is no longer open (closed in December 2025), but they showed us others.

I packed a lot of unnecessary clothing for my trip to Iceland. They provided a very warm snow suit, helmet, gloves and boot covers. Half of what I packed was unnecessary for this adventure.

I'm sorry, but it sucks! In the end we take a bus then we change and we take a bus, all to do 15 minutes of snowmobiling then a stop and again 15 minutes of snowmobiling. 900 € for 4 people is 450 € an hour for a snowmobile so it sucks. When I complained on whatsapp, I was blocked!!! Good customer respect. On the other hand 5 stars silfra diving, search for aurora by boat, and visit whales.

This experience includes transportation to and from our glacier base, changing into the required safety gear, and a guided snowmobile ride with a stop during the tour. The riding time is in line with the tour description, but we understand that the overall experience may not have matched what you were hoping for. An extemely well organised tour. All relevant warm weather gear supplied. My partner had a slight issue with safety briefings not been adhered to but after letting our main guide Edgar know things were quickly and satisfactorily sorted. Would highly recommend.
