Die Führung durch die Salinen und das Salzmuseum ist einzigartig in der Provinz Trapani. Es ist ein "Pflichtstopp", egal ob Sie in der Region Urlaub machen oder einen Tag inmitten der Natur verbringen möchten, das Meer berühren und in die Geschichte des Salzes eintauchen. Am Ende der Tour besteht auch die Möglichkeit, einen Aperitif mit atemberaubender Aussicht zu sich zu nehmen und/oder im Restaurant zu speisen.

Im ersten Teil der Tour haben Sie die Möglichkeit, einen entspannenden Spaziergang zu machen und die unendlichen Weißtöne zu entdecken, die das Salz charakterisieren, ganz zu schweigen vom Blau des Meeres, dem grauen Ton und dem Rosa der Tanks. Diese Route folgt dem Umfang der Salzpfanne, bis sie die Ufer der Salzpfanne erreicht, wo das Wasser wie ein Spiegel zum Himmel wirkt. Durch diese Tour bieten die Culcasi-Salzpfannen ein für alle Altersgruppen geeignetes Erlebnis innerhalb des WWF-Reservats zwischen geschützten Pflanzen und Vögeln, sodass Sie das Salz, das sich in den Tanks bildet, sehen können, indem Sie es mit Ihren Händen sammeln und Schritt für Schritt folgen gesamten Prozess, der Meerwasser in Salz verwandelt, das jeder kennt.
Der zweite Teil der Tour konzentriert sich auf die Führung durch das Salzmuseum und die alte Mühle aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, wo Sie wirklich in die Geschichte des Salzes eintauchen und nicht nur die anstrengende Arbeit der Salzpfanne nachvollziehen können, sondern vor allem, die Geschichte der Familie, die es seit Generationen führt. Das Museum befindet sich in einem alten Baglio und ist im offiziellen Führer der Europäischen Union enthalten. Es ist ein starkes Zeugnis der Verbindung, die Salz und Meer seit jeher verbindet.

This was a nice and relaxing tour, a 40 minute drive from Marsala with a lot of history, hands on experiences and tastings. We arrived early and were accommodated to start the tour inside the museum instead of outside. A member of our group wasn’t feeling well and Agnes offered something to eat to help. The museum tour was very informative with pictures, tools and equipment used back in the day. Explanations of the process were explained thoroughly. Once completed, the tour continued outside near the different salt pans. An enclosed room outside “salt lab” allowed for touching and sampling the salt and body scrub products. Afterwards, you take an approximate 20 minute walk around the salt pans where information that was previously explained is shown in person. At the end of the tour, you’re able to stop at the restaurant on site and have a nice lunch with beautiful views. Highly recommended with highly knowledgeable staff.

A nice interesting different experience. Out of the way and off the beaten path but educational and a nice experience to see where my salt can come from. Also maybe a jar or 2 found there way into a suit case!!
