Die Stadt Tsaghkadzor (übersetzt Tal der Blumen) gilt als einer der beliebtesten Winterorte Armeniens. Es ist einer der Orte unseres Berglandes, wo die Schönheit der Natur mit ihrer ganzen Vielfalt erscheint. Tsaghkadzor liegt in der Region Kotayk, 60 km nördlich von Eriwan, am Osthang des Teghenis-Gebirges, umgeben von unberührten Wäldern und Almwiesen.
Das Kloster Kecharis liegt im nordwestlichen Teil von Tsaghkadzor. Es wurde im 11. - 13. Jahrhundert erbaut. Das Kloster besteht aus vier Kirchen und einem halb zerstörten Mausoleum von Grigorius Pahlavuni, der den Bau des Klosters finanzierte.
Eine wunderbare Szene eröffnet sich im Nordwesten des Sevansees, wo die Halbinsel die transparente Oberfläche des Sees überragt. Das Kloster Sevanavank wurde 874 auf Befehl der Tochter des Königs Ashot Bagratuni – Prinzessin Mariam – auf der Halbinsel errichtet. Die Silhouette der Kirchen vor dem Hintergrund des türkisfarbenen Sees und des blauen Himmels macht einen unerklärlichen Seitenabruf auf die Besucher.
Die Faszination und die „Perle“ des gebirgigen Armeniens ist der Sewansee, einer der größten Süßwasserseen der Welt. Es liegt etwa 1900 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Der See ist vulkanischen Ursprungs und wird von Bergen von 3000 m und höher umgeben. Die schöne Landschaft und das kristallklare Wasser bieten schöne Voraussetzungen für ausgezeichnete Erholung. Der See ist auch berühmt für seine Halbinsel und mittelalterliche Kirchenanlage, die 874 erbaut wurde.

The tour of Tsaghkadzor and Sevan with Gayane and Samuel was a great time. Fair price and were able to do some extras due to everybody's punctuality. Took about 7 hours total with a little over an hour spent at the major stops, around 2 hours at Sevan. Weather was a little chilly, but just right for Armenian summer, AC and wifi on bus are great. In late June, Sevan is starting to get busy, decent crowds at Sevanavank and the Kecharis Monastarey, it will get busier as the summer goes on.
The whole tour was very good, every stop is worth the time. Our tour guide Samvel made sure to explain everything like history, culture, etc., In every destination they give you enough time to explore and take pictures. This tour is very smooth and no hassle, kudos to our tour guide Samvel and driver Spartakus who made sure the trip was safe, fun and knowledgeable and lastly the bus was clean and comfortable. Overall, if I'll ever visit Armenia again I will make sure to book my tours with Hyur. Very good service. 100% recommended.

I was on this bus tour in Yerevan and realy enjoy it, booking was easy, transfer from hotel included. Our Tour guide „Sam“ was very professional nice and did his best during the tour, explained enough in each location and guided the tour very professionaly and everyone felt very pleasunt, I do recommend you to take these tours and have this experience with Sam! We had an enjoyable and well-organized day tour with Sam as our tour leader and Captain Levan as our driver. Sam was friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly, while the transportation was very comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and excellent air conditioning. The boat ride on Lake Sevan was the highlight of the trip and is highly recommended for its beautiful views. The Tsaghkadzor ropeway is worth trying once for the scenery, although there is not much to do at the top. Overall, a pleasant experience and a good way to explore some of Armenia’s most famous attractions.
