Nach der Abholung in Reykjavík beginnt das Abenteuer im Nationalpark Þingvellir, einem UNESCO-Kulturerbe, wo Sie im kristallklaren Wasser des Silfra Fissure schnorcheln. Wenn Sie durch einen natürlichen Riss zwischen der nordamerikanischen und der eurasischen tektonischen Platte schweben, erleben Sie einige der klarsten Wasser der Erde. Schnorchelgruppen sind klein gehalten, mit maximal 6 Gästen pro Fortgeschrittener, um ein sicheres und persönliches Erlebnis zu gewährleisten, und Ihr Fortgeschrittener wird kostenlose Unterwasserfotos machen, um den Moment festzuhalten. Nach Silfra fahren Sie mit dem Kleingruppen-Kleinbus den Golden Circle entlang. Der Gullfoss-Wasserfall ist eines der berühmtesten Naturwunder Islands. In der Schlucht des Flusses Hvítá gelegen, taucht diese herrliche Kaskade in zwei dramatischen Ebenen in eine tiefe Schlucht. Oft begleitet von ätherischen Nebeln und Regenbögen an sonnigen Tagen, besticht Gullfoss mit seiner rohen Kraft und Schönheit – ein Muss auf jeder Reise durch Islands atemberaubende Landschaften.
Geysir ist das legendäre Geothermiegebiet im Haukadalur-Tal Islands, das den Namen für Geysire auf der ganzen Welt inspiriert hat. Obwohl der ursprüngliche Geysir heute seltener ausbricht, zeigen seine dramatische Vergangenheit und die umliegenden sprudelnden heißen Quellen und dampfenden Schlote weiterhin die rohe Kraft der geothermischen Kräfte der Natur.

My wife and I have dove and snorkeled all over the world. With Silfra, there’s zero fish to look at and two types of plants. So don’t expect much in that arena, but the water is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Super clear and clean. You are encouraged to actually drink the water. Plus you’re wearing a dry, you can’t even dive down because the air is not released. I would recommend it to our friends who are active because it breaks up the monotony of driving around in a bus or car all day with short walks to various sites. Pro-tip. The reason you are asked to bring thermal long underwear isn’t so much to keep you warm as to keep you feeling icky. You wear a thermal suit under your dry suit (think of it like using a rental sleeping bag that’s not cleaned regularly. You’ll be plenty warm, your undergarments are basically functioning as “sleep bag liner.”
This trip was just absolutely amazing. First we got in the bus with Niko, and he was just a fantastic driver/guide. He took us to Silfra and we went snorkeling. Our guide Nail, was just the most amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and make sure our dry suits were sealed. We got in the water and the visibility was outstanding. No water inside the dry suit, and although we were in glacial water I did not get cold at all. Nail gave us clear instructions and set us up for success. After that we transferred to the golden circle tour with Maria. Maria was super kind and the best guide around, we can see how much knowledge she has regarding her homeland, and her willingness to share it with us. We saw the geysers, Golden waterfall, horses at a local farm, and the Crater. We also had enough time to explore Thingvellir.

Snorkeling Silfra was a very unique experience. Nico, our guide was great - very helpful and entertaining. I was a little nervous about snorkeling in the frigid water but it was surprisingly relaxing and enjoyable.

Went with Arctic Adventrues and cannot reccomend enough. Our guide was Nico and he was the best. Super funny and welcoming to our whole group and the best guide. He really made this the highlight of the trip. If you are good feeling a little constrained and cold it's definitely worth doing.

Experience was really good, especially the snorkeling. Epic sights and amazing scenery during the drive. The tour operators were very good waiting for missing English people, but it made the day very long. Better organised pickup points could partly avert this. We had two tour guides in the day. They were both good, Simon was especially personable 👍🏻

10/10 After arriving to Iceland, we decided we wanted to literally jump right into our adventures! And started with snorkeling. We arrived alittle early and got to explore the area! Everyone from this organization was amazing! Niko was our tour guide and he was amazing! He not only learned all of our names but took great care in making us feel comfortable! I really thought the water would still be freezing even with dry suits especially since we are from Florida but we stayed dry and the water was more than tolerated!! The views were absolutely breathtaking! Definitely recommend and look forward to our next adventures with this company! Also bonus after coming out of the water was a warm cup of hot chocolate and cookie!
