Fahren Sie am Ufer des Kaudulla-Tanks entlang, um Elefantenherden zu sehen, die Wasser holen kommen. Hören Sie den Rufen seltsamer tropischer Vögel zu, während Sie versuchen, sie zu identifizieren. Die Safari nimmt Sie mit auf eine kurze Pirschfahrt durch die Wildnis von Kaudulla. Der Park ist bekannt für seine Elefantensichtungen, vor allem gegen Ende der Trockenzeit im September. Der Kaudulla-Tank beherbergt eine Reihe von Vögeln und anderen Wildtieren und ist die wichtigste Süßwasserquelle in der Umgebung. Sie reisen in einem unwegsamen Gelände (4WD) Spielfahrzeug. Der Kaudulla-Nationalpark wurde 2002 gegründet und bildet den Kaudulla-Minneriya-Dschungelkorridor bei Trincomalee. Es erstreckt sich über 6900 Hektar Fläche und umfasst viele trockene immergrüne Wälder, verlassene Anbauflächen und Grünlandzonen. Die Ökosysteme des Parks drehen sich hauptsächlich um den Kaudulla-Tank, einen der alten Wassertanks, die König Mahasena im 3. Jahrhundert n. Chr. gebaut hat. Heute hat der Park etwa 24 Säugetierarten, 25 Reptilienarten, 26 Fischarten und über 160 Vogelarten, die das Schutzgebiet bewohnen, sowie andere Insekten und Lebewesen.

We really liked the safari, the driver was professional, we saw many elephants and other animals. I recommend this.
I really enjoyed the safari. Saw many elephants, crocodiles and pelicans and the guide was very informative and friendly. Nice to see the animals in their natural habitat. Thanks.

The reserve actually consists of 3 parks. Our driver's name was Pliant. He showed us eagles, monkeys, many colored birds and an elephant in the jungle washing. However, the herds of elephants did not ... Then we suddenly noticed a lonely male. Pliant was approaching 20 meters. In the distance we saw another male at the lake water buffalo, but not the hundreds of elephants that were mentioned. Pliant really went out of his way to spot elephants. We stood still with the jeep (alone) and then suddenly dozens of elephants appeared from the bushes. She stood 10 meters from our jeep and then walked further to the lake. This has been one of the most beautiful moments of my travels!!!! So beautiful with all those little ones. Meanwhile, a lot of jeeps had suddenly arrived. When we left the reserve, they were really queuing (traffic jam!!!) to enter the reserve. I wouldn't have liked that.

I am delighted to say that you offer one of the best service during my visit to Sri Lanka. The driver Sumit was good, our communication per WhatsApp was very quick and comfortable. Payment through the web per Pay pal was also very convenient. We liked safari very much and met more than 50 elephants + other animals and birds. We also did appreciate advice from the company to visit Kaudulla Park rather than Minneriya because there were more elephants on that specific day (even though Kaudulla was 10$ cheaper). The driver Sumit even called us in 2 hours after we said goodbye in Habarana and asked how did we get to the hotel. It was very nice !

Very much enjoyed our safari with Lakpura LLC! They gave us great advice as to which park to visit for the highest chances of seeing elephants - and we saw hundreds! Our driver was professional and on time, and we so loved bouncing around with the roof down on our safari vehicle. This is a must for anyone wanting to get close to wild elephants in Sri Lanka!
Although the gathering was already over, we called Lakpura to ask if it is still possible to see elephants. They gave us advice to what park to go and at what time. And indeed, we still saw 70 elephants! The driver was kind and picked us up from our hotel. He was a very good driver and had respect for the elephants by keeping a proper distance. He also had some interesting facts to tell about the elephants. I would definetely recomend their service. Thank you for the great experience.
