Reiseverlauf

The Tulum ruins are absolutely fascinating. So beautiful and hard to believe they really exist. Bring an umbrella, it is extremely sunny with limited shade. Its also very very humid/ hot. The cenotes were refreshing after being so hot. There were 2 separate cenotes that you can swim in. They are cool water. This tour actually did a stop in playa del Carmen as well (surprise to us since it wasn't on the tour booking). It was fine but overpriced food and souvenirs. Our tour guide was top notch Estrella knew his stuff and was very helpful.
The ruins were so cool my favourite was elcastilo wich looked cool
Our Tulum and Cenote tour was absolutely spectacular, made unforgettable by the incredible team of guides—Kauil, Moo, and Estrella. Their deep knowledge of Mayan history, combined with high energy and personal care, made every moment engaging. The transportation was top-notch, featuring extremely clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned buses, ensuring a refreshing experience between spots.
It was a very long day. Tulum was good but the lunch stop, Cenote and Playa del Carman were a little disappointing.
We found the Tulum ruins not to be that great, especially compared to Chitzenitza or Uzmal. Nice view but also could not see the inside of any of them…Playa del Carmen was just a tourist trip, and the Cenotes were just so-so. The lunch was the best part.
The organisation of the trip was excellent, and the guides were knowledgeable and engaging. However, the day felt unnecessarily prolonged due to a two-hour stop at Playa del Carmen on the return journey. As a western traveller, the shopping street offered little of interest and did not add value to the experience. Ending the tour around 6:00 pm would have been far more comfortable, whereas the late finish at 8:30 pm made the day long and tiring.
Unforgettable experience with the Raùl guide, very prepared, perfect Italian and attentive to all the needs of travelers.
Great experience, if this was all I did the whole trip I would be content. We actually learned alot about Mayans, the culture, and the development of the cities. The tour guys were awesome Stich & Moo. Food was great, and the tour was very well planned. Cenotes were great!
Very well organized. The tour guides gave great explanations in both English and Spanish. They were also quite entertaining and funny
It was hot and expensive. It lasted a bit over an hour, and it was pretty crowded. There were English and Spanish tours. The staff was nice but took a while to explain multiple things. Overall, it was cool but very very humid.
