Ihr Reiseleiter holt Sie um 9:00 Uhr von unserem Treffpunkt in LA PRADERA NEIGHBORHOOD (Mariana de Jesús E7-74 St. und La Pradera St.) direkt vor dem HOTEL CASA Q. ab, um Sie zum besten Aussichtspunkt von Quito zu fahren!
Sie fahren mit einer Seilbahn, die sich am Fuße des Vulkans Pichincha auf einer Fläche von 160 Hektar befindet. Die Fahrt dauert 15 Minuten pro Strecke und beginnt bei 3.045 Metern und endet auf 4.100 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel. Sie genießen einen schönen Blick auf die östlichen Täler, die Altstadt, südlich und nördlich von Quito.
Dann fahren wir weiter nordwestlich von Quito, um das berühmte Intiñan-Museum zu leiten, das sich geografisch bei 0 Grad, 0 Minuten und 0 Sekunden befindet und die Trennung zwischen der nördlichen und der südlichen Hemisphäre markiert, wie sie von der französischen geodätischen Mission im 18. Jahrhundert festgelegt wurde. Sie werden wunderschöne Darstellungen verschiedener ethnischer Gruppen in Ecuador sehen sowie die Geschichte ihres Lebensstils, die von einem spezialisierten Reiseleiter erklärt wird! Dies ist eine Gelegenheit, gleichzeitig mit beiden Füßen auf der Nord- und Südhalbkugel fotografiert zu werden!
Auf dem Rückweg nach Quito sehen Sie von der Straße aus das Äquatorialdenkmal, das zwischen 1979 und 1982 erbaut wurde.
Am Nachmittag fahren wir in die Kolonialstadt Quito und während unseres schönen Spaziergangs passieren Sie den Unabhängigkeitsplatz, Schauplatz vieler dramatischer Revolutionsschlachten in der Geschichte der Republik Ecuador.
Spazieren Sie durch die Altstadt.
Sie haben die Möglichkeit, die Kathedrale von Quito, den Palast des Erzbischofs, die Kirche der Geheimgesellschaft Jesu von Quito, den Gipfel des lateinamerikanischen Barockstils und das charmante Viertel "La Ronda" zu besuchen.
Sie besuchen die Kirche und das Kloster von San Francisco, die 1540 erbaut wurden! Diese Tour endet ungefähr um 16:30 Uhr, nachdem Sie die umfassendste Sightseeing-Tour in der Hauptstadt Ecuadors erlebt haben!

Great trip, guide Diana was very knowledgeable. Hike was challenging to get to the swings. Cable car lovely 18 minute ride. Amazing view of Quito from up above. Walk with water, have some coca tea. Chocolate tasting was amazing. Best brownie ever. 10/10

The guide Juan was very nice and friendly. The guide very well knew all the places to see. I enjoyed the cable car to the mountains from there you could see the entire city. The old section of Quito is very beautiful.

Wonderful and leisurely coverage of the Equator Museum, Cable Car with a hike and Old Town Quito. Fair amount of being on feet but not hard. Our only comment is that entry fee should be included so one doesn’t have to stand in line to buy tickets every place especially when it’s busy. It’s a guided tour so it should include water bottles too!

We had an interesting and cool time in Quito. We learned a lot from the city's vast history and culture during this tour. We went to the San Francisco plaza, the city center, walked around the streets, churches, the Panecillo, and to the Middle of the World visitor center. In all this was a super nice and cool way to know Quito and many of its landmarks. I'd like to thank Diana our guide , she was very attentive, dynamic, fun , and very knowledgeable of Quito and Ecuador. She even took us to a restaurant to try local food which by the way was delicious 😋. This was definitely a nice tour.

Best tour guide that taught us an immense about history, Ecuador and the equator. Tour ended up being just us, so she was flexible adapting. Went to panacea instead of cable car due to weather - truly special day.
