Walbeobachtungstour in Hermanus ist berühmt für seine herrliche Küste, die spektakuläre Ausblicke auf riesige Meerestiere wie Delfine, Robben und Wale bietet. Es ist auch eines der 12 anerkannten Walbeobachtungsgebiete des World Wildlife Fund. Während der Walsaison, zwischen Juni und Dezember, bietet die Tour ein einzigartiges Erlebnis mit Boots- und Walbeobachtung an Land. Entspannen Sie sich bei einem Halt auf der Spier Wine Farm für Wein und Schokolade mit spektakulärer Aussicht und 5*-Restaurants mit köstlichen Cape-Küchen.

Reiseverlauf
Die Abholung erfolgt um 06:00 Uhr von Ihrem Hotel in Kapstadt, der Fahrer wartet in der Lobby auf Sie, um Ihre ganztägige Walbeobachtungstour zu beginnen. Bei Ihrer Ankunft in Hermanus müssen Sie eine Einverständniserklärung unterschreiben, dann gibt es eine Einweisung von einem erfahrenen qualifizierten Skipper und eine kleine Unterrichtsstunde über die Wale. Sie gehen dann an Bord einer gemeinsamen Meeressafari von 2-3 Stunden. Sobald die Wale gespottet werden, hält der Skipper das Boot an, damit alle diese erstaunlichen Seelöwen aus der Nähe sehen, Fotos machen und weitere Wale entdecken können. Nach der Bootsfahrt kehren die Gäste zum Hafen zurück und fahren zu unserem nächsten Ziel.
Atemberaubend schönes Weingut, das preisgekrönte und ikonische Art-of-Creation-Weine aus einer Vielzahl von Chardonnay und Pint Noir serviert. Hier halten wir auf dem Rückweg von der Walbeobachtung für ein schnelles leichtes Mittagessen (auf eigene Kosten) und eine Weinprobe. Der Preis für die Weinprobe variiert zwischen R10 und R50. Bitte teilen Sie auch Reservierungen für das Mittagessen 24 Stunden im Voraus mit.
Auf unserem Rückweg von Hermanus halten wir auf der majestätischen Weinfarm Spier für eine Weinprobe und Schokoladenpaarung. Hier haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die preisgekrönten Weine von Spier wie Cap Clasique, 21 Cables, Seaward und viele mehr zu probieren. Es gibt auch eine KINDER-Verkostung, bei der sie die Möglichkeit haben, Traubensaft zu probieren, darunter 2 verschiedene Traubensäfte und ein pädagogisches Aktivitätsblatt.
Nach dem Besuch der Spier Winelands fahren wir zurück nach Kapstadt, wo Sie Ihr Hotel absetzen.

What I loved most is that this tour doesn’t feel touristy. Small group, max 14 people in our van. The driver/guide knew both the ocean and the wine farms well, so we weren’t just being shuttled around. Back in Cape Town by 6pm, tired but happy. It’s a long day - 10+ hours - so wear comfy shoes and bring a jacket for the boat. But if you only have one day outside the city, this is it. You see Hermanus, you see whales, you taste real Cape wines, and you learn a bit of SA history between stops. 100% worth the money if you want nature + luxury in one trip.

What a phenomenal trip! Our driver, Callixte was brilliant - helpful, knowledgeable and personable. The whale watching experience was once in a lifetime and the guides on the boat made it extra special with their knowledge of the whales and explanations of the conservation work which has been and is being undertaken to protect them. The wine tour was also magnificent at the Spier Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. Highly recommend for a day trip while in Cape Town.
