Unser Tag beginnt mit einem Besuch in Paarl, wo Sie von der Schönheit des Tals, dem unberührt blauen Himmel, den sanften Weinbergen und der Perle von Paarl hoch über dem Tal beeindruckt sein werden. Paarl machte Schlagzeilen, als Präsident Mandela aus dem Gefängnis Groot Drakenstein (ehemals Victor Verster Gefängnis) entlassen wurde. Wir genießen eine Weinprobe auf einem der lokalen Anwesen. Von Paarl geht es weiter nach Nordwesten in das schöne Dorf Franschhoek, das 1688 von Französischen Einwanderern auf der Flucht vor der religiösen Verfolgung der Hugenotten in Europa gegründet wurde. Ein Denkmal in der Stadt erinnert an die Ankunft dieser frühen Siedler, die bei der Entwicklung der von Napoleon, Bismarck und Königtum wie Edward VII., dem Prinzen von Wales, begehrten Weine halfen. Hier halten wir zum Mittagessen und einer weiteren Weinprobe in einem lokalen Weinberg an. Danach fahren wir nach Stellenbosch, der zweitältesten Stadt Südafrikas und genießen eine letzte Weinprobe, bevor wir nach Kapstadt zurückkehren.

- Wenn Gäste sich selbst auf den Weg zu einem denkmalgeschützten Abholpunkt machen, müssen sie ausreichend Reisezeit (d.h.... Verkehrsverzögerungen etc...) einplanen, um rechtzeitig zum Abholpunkt zu gelangen.
- Sollten Gäste nicht bis zur geplanten Abfahrtszeit anreisen, wird die Tour abreisen und es werden keine Rückerstattungen gegeben.

- Wenn mehr als eine Person reist – wir benötigen Namen und Nachnamen aller reisenden Gäste (wenn die Tour mit einer Person gebucht wird und die Reservierung des Hotels unter einer anderen erfolgt, werden wir vom Hotel darüber informiert, dass niemand mit diesem Namen im Hotel ist, was zu Verspätungen führt und dazu führen kann, dass die Gäste die Tour verpassen).

The experience was very smoothly offered and the itinerary was all we could have hoped for. Three very different wineries all charming and with beautiful surroundings. The tastings were interesting with a good coverage of what flavours to experience. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our driver and guide for the trip was very helpful, friendly and informative about the history of the wine estates and also about South African culture. A very enjoyable day and we can recommend wholeheartedly to others.

Disappointing. Billed as a three winery tour, we only visited 2. We were pressured into only visiting 2 by the guide. It was clear that there was insufficient time to visit 3 wine farms. The first farm was excellent. Well prepared, we were guided through the wines and given a tour. The second at Franschhoek was poor. We were seated at a table and given 3 wines, only 3 of which were described to us. This We should receive partial reimbursement since we only visited 2 of the 3 wineries. I would not recommend this tour.

I wish I could give 10 stars. Extremely happy with the wine tasting tour and I don’t drink wine. Our guide Ivan was superb. He told us all about each area we drove through. The wine was a bonus.

Wonderful driver who was very knowledgeable accommodating and professional. Also felt very safe when he was driving. The wine tasting and pairings were everything that I imagined. Staff at wineries also knowledgeable and delightful.
Eddie, our driver and tour guide, was informative, friendly, courteous and very organised. We visited 3 wineries and had a day out that exceeded our expectations. Stellenbosch is a beautiful wine growing area and the wineries and wine were excellent.

I had an all day excursions the day before the wine tour and was so tired I almost cancelled. I am soooooo happy I did not. It was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect....from the tour guide to the wine to the locations. The views can not be described in words you have to see them. Absolutely Amazing! Definitely worth the money. Hopefully you will get Ashley, he was nice and informative and so patient with our small group.
